Well, we know his house cost several million CAD and is likely over 3000 square feet. It has multiple stories, a large garage, a rectangular pool, and solar panels on the roof. It is surrounded by enough trees to not see the neighbors, the fence surrounding the property is distinctive, and it is presumably close to his office. We also know it is an older house built when home intercoms were the cool new thing. There can’t be that many houses in the Surrey, BC area that match that description.

It is interesting as per some of the other users ITT that every criticism that we've had about him lately has been either been addressed in a tweet or on the Wan show. Really makes you think, maybe Anthony found the thread & has been ordered to watch it & report on it for his master. Maybe they threatened to stop giving him his weekly complimentary hosing down & furry porn if he didn't?

Linus has got to operate on a too big to fail mindset. He said on a recent WAN that the company has mortgages to the tune of half a million a year. You got to be crazy to be investing that much in to this market with his type of company. Foundations built on sand.

See this is what i don't get either. Where are the viewers that are gonna be intressted in this? They are already top dog in the consumer electronics market and LTTs appeal is that they are very accessible. You don't really need to know a lot about computers to see Linus drop things. But technical analysis only appeals to a very few select of the hardcores and most of them are not gonna watch a video sponsored by a manufacturer.

If i was Linus I would try and poach a new market with sponsors with big pockets. Like cordless tool reviews. You wanna talk about fanboys? Boy let me tell you what you ain't seen nothing until you have seen two grown men get in to a fist fight on which colour of plastic is better. Most of the fans are working men to so you have people who have a lot of money and most of those apes barely know how to use a computer so adblock is almost nonexistant.

Talking about tools here is the new LTT screwdriver

At first I was gonna shit on it but it designed well enough if you think of the application being taking apart computer cases. That was until Linus said the pricing was gonna be "super resonable"

Thats twice the price that i paid for my Wera ratcheting screwdriver and Wera is almost like the rolls royce for screwdrivers and the kit i bought back then was made in Germany. Contrasting this hunk of junk that is gonna be made somewhere in china land.

I'm beginning to think that Yvonne recruited Linus as a Chinese asset. How else did he become so popular despite having about as much technical competency as a writer for The Verge? It'd also explain why she seems to wear the pants in that relationship.

It feels like the exact opposite of Naomi Wu. In Wu's case, there's an American engineer pulling the strings in the background. She's gone down the IRL big tiddy anime character path, and her engineering skills are dubious at best.

The one thing that both Naomi and Linus definitely have in common is that their content is unwatchable.

Same thing with the likes of MKBHD, who is the nigger version of Linus - Does nothing but flex his overpriced equipment and expensive lifestyle products which are usually gay like electric cars.

MKBHD has never deserved to be this big either. All he's been making since 2013/2014 are promotions or, to be precise, slick 3D product tours "reviews" where he has nothing but positive things to say, lest he lose those sweet sweet sponsorships, free trips and free shit from electronics manufacturers.

And if I were to put on my tinfoil hat, I'd say he was thrusted upwards by the first wave of modern degeneracy (pushing feminism, niggerism and gay acceptance) which happened around the same time he got big (2013/2014 era).

I personally saw how SJW websites like The Verge, Engadget, etc were all linking to MKBHD at the time, his growth did NOT seem organic.

what’s the tooth count on the ltt? Interchangeable shafts? Bit storage?
personally I find a ratchet driver on computers useless. Once you break the fastener loose there’s too much backlash on the ratchet to take advantage of the design I can just spin em out quicker with a regular driver.

Linus is more insufferable and way more of soyboy but MKBHD irritates me in his own way.

My brain seems to have a natural detector of bullshitters and can quickly identify shills and people who are full of shit within a few minutes to hours of interaction or observation. I've worked with a lot of bullshitters before (whom I'd say share similar characteristics to compulsive liars and sociopaths but aren't quite the same), in the last 20 years this autistic instinct of mine has been proven extremely accurate. MKBHD aka Nigger Linus set off the "full of shit" alarm in my head way back when I discovered his channel in 2012.

Bullshit "reviews" that are essentially product tours aside, MKBHD is a huge CONSOOMer and shills all sorts of shitty products like IoT, electric vehicles, the Metaverse and more shit that we need to CONSOOM because OMGGGGG TEH FUTURE IT'S SO COOL, WIRELESS AND THIN AND THE FUTURE!!!

I just went to check his channel, since it's been years since I've done that, and I noticed that MKBHD has met and filmed chats with Zuck the Fuck and Shill Bill Gates before. To me, this isn't news but more confirmation bias. And perhaps that long-standing theory that MKBHD was "made" to be popular could actually be true.

Again, to his small credit, MKBHD never pretended his goal wasn't mostly to become rich and famous on youtube. His early-ass videos as a teen showcase that.
I never felt that he was trying to pose as a legitimate tech nerd. He was into phones because phones were the hot exciting thing back then.
And while he has ridden the wave of progressive nog worship, I can't entirely blame him for taking a free ride in life when it's handed to him for nothing. Most of us wouldn't reject it either.
