The pinned message in the live chat says you should go to SCAM: https://tesla-online.net/ for more information. It's currently 3:25am in Vancouver. Wonder how long this takes to get fixed?

Update: a second stream had started, both of which are now down. The fake Tesla site is gone too.

Another update: all but a dozen of Linus' videos are set to unlisted. Crypto streams are back up.

Also, it's hilarious how every big crypto scam seems to revolve around Elon Musk. This has been happening for what, 3 years now? You'd think people would know that daddy Elon isn't going to send you free crypto by this point.

This shit has happened to multiple popular youtubers, one guy I like called ExperGamez had his shit hacked for like a month before he got his channel back. It sucked because I was in the middle of watching his Death Note video and that shits like 10 hours long.

It's a pdf thing, they can have scripts that execute when you go to read them. You should be able to disable them in your pdf viewer, if it supports it at all, some basic ones don't. Not sure on Chrome, but Firefox lets you disable running scripts in the pdf viewer.

yeah, PDF spec includes such insanity as a Javascript interpreter and it used to allow you to embed flash.

pdf is a scam because everything thinks it's a "safe document format" but it's actually just a web browser now lol

It makes me think why he thought of posting his personal videos on his account dedicated for his show/persona that's equivalent to a business account.

It used to be his own account, and then he grew in to what it is now. He probably uses it because why not? It's still his account, even if he has a business attached to it. Plus, he probably uses it for jokes around the office or to test things.

It's evolved from NCIX tech tips which he ran for NCIX. He made it his own hence the name. I doubt Linus from Linux was ever given a thought when the channel was made.
