Apparently we, the users, are collectively a co-defendant alongside Null? Very strange to think about.

You know…when I think about it, if I had heard that there was CSAM hosted on a transgender Discord server, made all the usual assumptions, then found out it wasn’t true, I’d be, well…pleased? Like, great, you don’t host child porn on your part of the ‘net, that’s a win for everyone, because feeling like you can never hate your enemy enough is a deeply unpleasant feeling to hold in your heart.

But with these people, every time we and they get confirmation that the Kiwi Farms isn’t actually as bad as they thought we were, they get upset! And it’s back to ordering more petty DDOS attacks! They’re upset we were verified not to host child porn! Like there’s not a dozen other lies the site’s been deplatformed for.

It’s very telling that the self-declared heros of this fight feel slighted when the enemy that they literally handpicked is revealed less and less to be the force of evil that they wanted us to be.

That's a funny way to look at it....a normal person ought to celebrate "does not host child porn" but instead they are angry about it.

It's purely cognitive dissonance. Because to their way of thinking, they have everything figured out. They have a moral and ideological framework that explains everything and I do mean EVERYTHING. They are crusading for a better and more tolerant world and anyone who stands against that can't be doing it for a logical or altruistic reason. But there's this pesky problem: Reality keeps refusing to conform to their model of how it should be.

Someone else hasn't been returning our certified mail and now with this retraction there is zero basis to their claims. Not retracting now is proof of actual malice. I'm not asking for much here.
