With Lucas I don't think you would get the truth and any money paid to him will only serve to bloat his ego /entitlement even more.
I get the feeling she met him during a low and lonely pt in her life. She was 48 at the time and likely no other prospects for companionship.

Lucas gets crazier every year, as people with psychiatric problems are wont to do. He used to write semi-coherent things; I saw a screenshot from 2011 which was actually readable and contained some mild self-awareness.
Keep in mind that It-Has-A-Pulse companionship with no sex (I think he said they didn't fuck that often, idk) is perfectly fine and maybe even preferred by a non-zero number of women, especially in her age range, and especially in dire straits.
I'm not that surprised by the Suzanne saga. Do I think he could pull even a Suzanne now? No. The days of getting with even the saddest people are over. No one will have him now except for people who are totally incapacitated (and that's not really "having", is it?) That's why so many of us are concerned that incompetent Lucas might tard-rage himself into actually hurting someone someday. The only thing saving a potential victim is his usual inability to do jack shit for real.

Lucas actually appeared in one of my dreams the other night. I think Captain Kirk was there too.
What blew his fuse might be that you didn't show romantic interest in him right off the bat. Now that he's back at college, among the Gen Zs he's even more desperate. He wanted for you to initiate/start conversations showing interest, where he could slide in his super sperm etc. He was the one reaching out to you and you cut him off with -- got an early class, I'm at work and it pissed him off.
