The rest of what he said is iffy but it looks like he jumped from the "they" who want him to have a girlfriend and merged it with the "they" that know he will never be fit to have a girlfriend therefore in his creep mind not moral/upstanding.
Maybe the "they" are how he identifies, largely because he's the size of 3 people?
I thought maybe some therapists and social workers may have used a girlfriend as a carrot in the past, and he rolled that into his delusions.

I agree with @Wernie Sanders , it didn't happen. We know about McDonald's and the "volunteer" work he did because he has talked about those previously now all of sudden he "worked for bit shredding bottles for Pepsi". Nope, if it were true he would have already brought it up at some point in the past.
Most likely this is another Mallon residents "work" experience and he thought it sounded like a cool thing to do and would make him sound cool.
That second one is so bizarre, it really highlights how little Lucas understands the trolling, part of his larger pattern of unfailingly misunderstanding the perspective of other people. We don't want him to have a girlfriend. Not in the sense that we are actively opposing his lovequest, but I for one wouldn't care to see him inflicted on any woman, if such a thing were possible. I'd say we passively oppose it but largely it's a moot question because of how hilariously impossible such a thing would be.
