i don't know, there is a large over-representation with women (young and old) in MLM home business stuff regarding all kinds of products from scent bags to candles to make-up of all kinds. more than once i've responded to calls, even in a nice suburban homes, that had far too many women involved with MLM stuff. more than one DV complaint involved spending all the husband's regular job's money for more MLM stuff.

at least guys are selling drugs, stolen goods, or just getting drunk or high or something. women seem to do that less often, but get more into MLM related debt that ends up with a pissed off boyfriend/husband and a DV call. likely because of that whole "boss babe" shtick i've seen on facebook here and there has some kind of "friendly group hooray" vibe in order to sell to others in the group to secure referrals.
