I have three small children, so I'm kind of immune to temper tantrums at this point.

When I pressed him on the weight, he backed away from the 220lbs to just saying that people say that he's losing weight.

Its interesting he brings up the elk hunting at all considering as a known mentally ill person and a former long term resident of the nuthouse hes not legally permitted to own or possess a firearm. There is bow hunting but i'm not sure what the regulations are about that in WA but I suspect he isn't allowed a bow either. That said he would never pass the safety course to buy either of them anyway so he's talking about things he isn't even capable of offering even if his father handed him the place and told him to go ahead

I'm not familiar with Washington's gun laws but I believe that he is still able to own a black powder rifle (basically a musket... no cartridges just a ball, powder and wadding) as it is not considered a firearm. I'm not sure what the over/under is on Lucas shooting himself in the head while trying to load one of these but I'll take that bet.

I have to agree on the family blowing him off for his birthday this year, at least his mom's side that is.

Remember, right before he lost the apartment, and slightly right after as well I think, he had called his mom a bitch, and was still blaming her for mentioning his schizophrenia on the internet, which he claimed got people to dislike him unfairly, that's our Lucas; taking responsibility for his own actions as always!

But back to the point, it's crucial I think that even on holidays, his family doesn't let his behavior slip by unremarked upon and tacitly tolerated, because for Lucas, and this is crucial, passive tolerance IS acceptance.

He's been so pushed away, his entire life, that when people tolerate him, Lucas sees them as friends. Anything short of a direct and stern "No I don't want to talk to you leave me the f*** alone!" will lead to Lucas thinking a person likes him.

Remember, eye contact, what Lucas calls "blushing" (OT but one area of Wernology that is always been particularly interesting to me, but I don't see discussed often, is some of Lucas's unique phraseology, his "Lucasisms", if you will. This thing about blushing, or "full-face blushing" as he usually terms it, is something that's always fascinated me. I wonder where Lucas initially got the idea that he could tell when someone blushed and what it meant. I think it's extremely rare to see someone blush to the point where it's visibly noticeable, unless they have a fever or extremely fair complexion? Where did this nonsense about blushing come from? He still uses it, to this very day.) apparently an indicator of sexual interest. Lucas has said before that he can gauge someone's sexual interest in him based on their pupils dilating.

Because he's starved for normal social contact, because he's such a pariah and everyone hates to be around him, he creates significance around these minor social interactions, and Spins it way out of proportion into something of meaning.

If a woman looks at him, that means she was sexually into him, possibly even inviting him.

We've all seen him do it many times.

Goldie's podcast recently has made me realize, with everyone essentially allowing Lucas to get away with his tantrums and his horrible Behavior, Lucas isn't receiving enough negative feedback for his actions to even make him CONSIDER correcting them out of pure self-preservation.

Perhaps his brain is too damaged to even be wired in the way of oh, you know, Pavlovian positive reinforcement? Like a dog?

But it's certainly not helping when he receives nothing but a slap on the wrist, and a one-day ban from the House of Charity, I do indeed consider to be a slap on the wrist, not nearly enough punishment for such a socially transgressive action, especially action directed against an authority figure like a security guard, but I suppose the House of Charity has to deal with all manner of infractions, so they probably rate them in terms of practical violence, I don't know.

Lucas needs to suffer more negative repercussions to make him realize that his behavior is affecting him negatively. If it's even possible.

What I think we can all agree on, is that Lucas's behavior is getting worse, and getting more wild, and he's only going to change it on his own, if he ever does.

Nothing short of a stay in prison would work, I think.

He's so resistant to therapy, because of this deeply ingrained narcissism, which Shields his fragile ego. He would have to come to the decision. But one of the problems with Lucas is he thinks that considering things or talking about them is as good as doing them.

We've all seen him discuss going to college: therefore in his own mind he's a college student. Lucas says he's considering veganism and weight lifting, so then he name drops them as if he's actually practicing both of those behaviors.

this is the usable meat from a moose i bagged in September. one moose (not an elk, but similar in scope when butchered as far as freezer space) can produce around 250 lbs of meat of mixed cuts. more if you like stews and need to make gelatin or whatever. elk are a bit leaner for the same weight and have less marbled meat, and so are "lighter" in terms of mass of meat harvested.

Lucas needs to really stop himself from talking about things he's woefully ignorant on, especially common subjects that people actually can relate to or have knowledge of. it's one thing to spout off about telomeres and time travel and be considered a lunatic, but talking about cars, money, or hunting immediately flags you as an idiot.

with all his free time at the library and being a bum, you'd figure he'd spend some of it (even for the purposes of zoomber bae catching) to reading up on the topics and becoming educated on it. instead it's all bombastic statements, unsupported claims, and twisted "evidence" to suit his preconceived conclusion. how much of this is The Wern, and how much is mental illness is hard to discern.

Those casual threats he makes about "trolling" young women who piss him off is textbook behavior of an abuser and sends an unambiguous message about what a relationship with Lucas would be like. He doesn't see women as having any agency, but rather as some kind of commodity to be traded; like he is some kind of Bedouin sheikh cementing alliances with matrimony. When he does speak of women he wants to date, he talks about them in disturbing terms (i.e. fecund) and there is nary a mention of any kind of intangible virtue that contributes to sustainable and fulfilling relationship.

If someone in Spokane is bored enough. It is public record to see if someone voted. You can't see who they voted for, but if they voted or not. I think it's just a matter of time before he escalates into stalking. He's cold calling young women and leaving long messages about his super sperm. He's full on raging into the camera in public and whatever he did with the nurse (I don't think we have a clear story on that) was significant enough for him to get booted from H.O.C.

I don't think he would've done this a couple years ago. When he was in Jr. College, we had stories of him consistently showing up around girls he had a crush on but never approaching them. The fact that he's starting to approach people indicates he's changing his behavior.

Couple his increasing rage with the fact that that he believes that all of the problems in his life will be rectified if he manages to 'swoop a zoomer bae' and I think it's just a matter of time before he puts some poor girl in an uncomfortable and/or dangerous situation.

But how do you become the kind of person who thinks that everything and everyone in the world exists just to serve you and do what you want all the time and only what you want. What if there was a genuine effort on the girl's part to want to try to get to know him and date him, because Idk, let's say she had a traumatic childhood that literally destroyed her brain matter, like she probably needs therapy. Anyways, she agrees to the date and they talk and it turns out they have nothing in common. She likes to get up at 4am and run 3 miles everyday and would like a partner who would run with her. Also, she has a science degree so everything Lucas says makes her want to cut her own jugular. So she tells him, it was a nice time but it turns out they don't have much in common and it's hard to imagine any kind of future in terms of the lifelong total commitment he's demanding

Lucas is a manchild, so him hiding in the bathroom, then emerging minutes later to peek outside isn't really surprising. Being in a motel within proximity to Suzanne's workplace was definitely a new level of creep for Lucas. Thankfully he's too stupid with his money to be able to successfully do this ever again
