Ageism and anti-male sexism are real issues, and Starbucks has often been on the wrong side of them. So have many other businesses and certainly government (including law-enforcement) agencies. But the note wasn't so innocent. The man made comments like "I haven't had sex in 5 years" and "Why do I feel this need to be inside you?". So no, this wasn't innocent flirting. With a note like that, banning him seems a bit more justified. Problem is, people will focus only on that aspect and ignore the much larger problem"

I think he hits the nail on its head.This isn't the same kind of discrimination faced by the protagonist of God Bless America, this is just Lucas being a horrible pervert.

It's not about age: a seasoned 40 years old street walker would find this message creepy too, because it gives serious killer vibes.

Hell, "Hey, wanna come over and fuck?" would have been a ban-worthy but less creepy note.

This is well and good but, and correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't he seeked out help like this before only to be returned to the street quickly after?

Regardless, he is getting help in Spokane. Not sure how it is everywhere else, but Spokane is notorious for releasing the mentally ill before they really should, especially at the walk-in pysch hospitals in most regular hospitals. There are only TWO state-run psychiatric wards in WA state and you can imagine they are nearly full to the brim. I would be surprised if this did anything other than fuel his "the world is out to get me" mentality when the psych tells him it's weird to want to fuck little girls.

Looks like I may have made a far too optimistic assumption based off of the comment I saw earlier. Lucas is popping on and off of his main Facebook page, and has made a new account under the name "Jake Smith". This account is only a few minutes old, has a picture of a Guy Fawkes mask as it's profile picture, and the 1st (and only) post is in defense of Lucas. Complete with classic Lucas-esque mass posting of links to the age of consent, ageism, and bigotry. It is absolutely, 100% guaranteed to be Lucas himself.
