The odds of him getting on Section 8 are probably pretty low, for sure, but if he does manage it then it probably represents his last, best hope of getting a bae, any bae, to at least talk to him. Section 8 can be difficult to lose if you manage to do the bare minimum, and he'll undoubtedly have a caseworker to keep him in line. I can just picture Lucas, in his infinite(ly small) wisdom, thinking he'd hit the jackpot when some mid-30s drug addict or whatever showed the slightest bit of interest in him and convinced him that they were gonna score once he let her move in, only to show up with a bunch of dudes and force him to live in a closet or something

Sorry for the PL but my town has a very large Housing Authority complex and you are correct that over HALF the units there have "unauthorized" residents. They don't do dick about it.

Edited to add: Considering his obsession with writing those "love searches" on street poles and overall messy penmanship,could he possibly have hypergraphia? It's common in Schizophrenia.


Lastly, no matter who the customer is, I treat them right. It's not just about tips per se. It's about knowing their name, learning their preferences,etc. That's what keeps customers coming back, feeling welcome.
They do not have the right to assume a server is fair game.

It most likely won't. Whatever he gets e-begging isn't having taxes withheld. So long as he doesn't have more than 2000 dollars to his name, which he won't even come close, then no tugboat interruptions or deductions will occur from this. Now if he gets a job where they are reporting taxes, that is when the tugboat shrinks and Mallon Place is short rent money.

He's already starting in with "minimum wage isn't enough". Of course, he can't make too much or they take his tugboat. And again, there is 0% chance of him landing Section 8 housing.

Building a resume for Lucas would be a challenge. "Standup Comic", "Student pursuing doctorate in biology", and yes, "Influencer".

Earlier today the Creep posted he had filled out a Section 8 voucher. This evening he said he is actively working on a voucher to get his own apartment cheaper. So is he still working on getting the supposed voucher done after he said he filled out the voucher. I'm wondering if he is trying to apply to some other low income housing program and he thinks it's Section 8.

I like to check in on Lucas every once in a while to make the inevitable decline easier to see, and institutionalization does not agree with him.

He’s even fatter and more bloated and aged looking but pasty.

Loading up on Mallon meals and getting tards to buy him doordash has caused him to accumulate mass.

Yeah, he probably does. He does not have a clue that his tugboat will go away if he is working that much. Him actually getting a job is almost certainly not in the cards. But can you imagine the moooing and autistic screeching if his tugboat did not port on the first of the month? Reee! Reee, he would say.

I am not sure if he thinks he is impressing people with talking about getting a job? Lucas seems to have this idea that thinking or talking about something is just as good as actually doing it. Like when he goes on about "exploring body building and veganism". Or getting a PHD. He does nothing towards actually doing or attempting these things. With the exception of gorging on some vegan cheese or taking a couple semesters at the community college.

I know lying to himself keeps him going and I think Lucas is crazy enough that he believes his own lies.
