I'm still wanting more info about this new apartment. It doesn't add up, for a lot of reasons and I'll spare re stating them but, I do wonder if Lucas legit looked at new fart box, this is all a schizo day dream or he is aware hrs lying just trying to flex.

Wherever he is claiming to be moving to has to be owned by some sort of social services agency that houses the exceptional and autistic. Probably something one step above a group home. Whoever is allowing this is being very optimistic that tubby won't cause problems there. He almost certainly will. I bet there will be rules like no overnight guests and possibly it will be overseen by a tard wrangler.

I wonder what the rent will be? It is lunacy that he keeps getting things like this with how he has done in situations like this in the past. I think it is likely he will go off his meds if given the chance.

Edit: I just want to make sure everyone got that: BREAKFAST is chicken fried steak, fried potatoes, and peaches, which Lucas has chosen to drown in cream gravy.

Gee, I seem to remember Lucaa saying that he "wasn't a breakfast person"? And "didn't get up for breakfast usually"? Not that anyone believed this, but again, if Lucas ever wonders why he weighs 400 lb now, he has to look no further than these photos he takes.

It's funny, when he wasn't taking his medication and he was homeless, he complained about how being medicated would make him gain weight. But he creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, because when he IS medicated he does nothing but sleep and binge, he necessarily creates a cycle where medication goes hand in hand with massive weight gain.

He could be medicated, and still walk the streets; being SO overweight is not going to give him tons of energy either. If he'd gained less weight, he wouldn't have to augment his daily energy with six Venoms.

Unsurprisingly, I don't see Lucas taking any responsibility for this.

I think Lucas used alcohol, THC, and expensive food as a means of altering his moods for the purposes of regulation. He traded all that in for shelter when the season changed over to winter and has had to make do with institutional food with no access to either booze or weed.

Caffeine is really a hell of a drug; if you were able to totally abstain from it for eight or nine months and then drank a can of coke, you would be in for an experience. I doubt Lucas is getting anything like that from his caffeine usage, but it is a pretty good stimulant. If our day to day lives were not absolutely saturated with it, it could have ended up as a controlled substance.

The sad part is that Lucas isn’t combining his medication with any sort of therapy, which defeats the point of the meds in the first place in my opinion. The pills don’t take away the highs and lows, that is the natural rhythm of life and therapy is where you learn to deal with that in healthy ways. Just because you are no longer flipping between suicidal ideation and euphorically painting the walls at 3 a.m. doesn’t mean the issue is fixed.

I bet Lucas’ move to an apartment is him switching companies and he is moving into an apartment where he gets daily visits from “Direct Care Specialists” which are wranglers who visit to make sure everything is okay and to encourage/assist him in various activities.

The sinister overtone is, those direct care specialists are often college age females. That Domestic Violence conviction will probably ensure that any staff that are alone with him will be males. I hope it does.

The number of times I was alone or part of a two person all woman team working in a treatment milieu is pretty much 100 times the number of times I had a male security guard or PO present for safety. It depends on the setting but even in purely forensic settings without any co-occurring mental deficiencies, I’ve seen women who teach yoga to male juvenile sex offenders, do substance use treatment with men in a halfway house, or even just do research studies on homeless chronic inebriates with active psychosis diagnoses.

I don’t know which insurance companies you mean but there is virtually no basis for assuming there would be some discriminatory rider saying only men can be around.

Yeah, I would agree. From my experience working in the corrections and social services field, this about true.

The people who are in charge of services like this wear rose colored glasses and believe that none of these clients or recipients would be violent, despite having documented history of violence. Safety is not at all a priority. Then if some incident happens they freak out and wonder "how did this happen?" When to most people it is clear as day that no proper safety protocols are followed. It is borderline exceptional the mentality that goes on with some social programs.
