God he’s so stupid. He not only doesn’t remember talking about eating Kraft cheese, nor does he realize that a lot of the food he’s eaten at Mallon definitely has it in the recipe (he had Mac and cheese with hot dogs really recently, a quintessential child meal). Which is FINE, you can eat “kids food” and you can eat American cheese, even if there are better quality cheeses in existence. But no, Lucas can’t comprehend any normal people lines of thought like that. Even though he lives in a nursing home and has no real control over what he eats, AND has eaten American/Kraft cheese all his life, he really thinks people are going to consider him a fancy, “bourgeoise” (as he says) person. Because he is claiming to not like American cheese.

How many pounds do we figure he's gained at Mallon? He was 295 before, according to the police report, and I'd say he's gained AT LEAST 100 more pounds.
I'd feel safe guessing he's over 400, actually. His gut is SOOOO distended.

I'd estimate Lucas was 295 when he was arrested, lost a little weight to around 275 around the LA saga, and now he's 350. He's not as bloated as he was when he was 400+, yet, but he's getting there. If Lucas actually moves out and gets his EBT + SSI for first week of the month binges back, he's a comin'.

It's funny that this is the gesture he reverts to when clearly socially uncomfortable. It's amazing how quickly he defers to Skeletor as the alpha male when they're together.
Perhaps it's not amazing, it could be just that I haven't seen Lucas interact with that many men, and that this is his default interaction with other men. It's actually likely he did the same thing with Isaac.

Eh I actually think he’ll lose weight if he gets out of Mallon. He’ll inevitably stop taking his meds, which will help, and while he will be binging, he’ll be walking around all over the place again, and also will end up going without food sometimes because he’ll spend all his money at once.
