Yeah he's definitely big mad today and his anger at this woman appears to be getting worse. Today its screaming into his phone and using it as an outlet. Before long it'll be seeing her in the common room or at dinner and it'll build his rage more and more until he says and does something stupid. He always acts like this before a chimpout. This will build until he blows his top. She's going to end up humiliated and lucas, if he's lucky will get his ass kicked out. If he's unlucky he'll get his ass kicked out and arrested to get hauled off to a psych eval and either another jail stint or an extended stay in the nuthouse again before getting dumped on the street. In which case he's fucked with his health problems

Some men don't take well to being told to fuck off. Now add that Mallon is for people with some type mental problem, she may have feared he would get violet. She likely thought it was safer to tell the Creep she didn't want a boyfriend.

Indeed, though I meant humiliated more in the sense of lucas spazzing out in the middle of the dining room at dinner in front of everybody at mallon place and causing a scene with her at the center of it. Thats quite a bit worse than what shes already gone through with him being weird around her and would make things pretty awkward around mallon place residents for awhile. I mean even when lucas got kicked out of the shelter with the nurse incident she never came back

I wouldn't be surprised if thats exactly what happened. Given his size, crazy, eyes, weird behavior and obvious interest in her that always comes off as awkward and creepy at the best of times for him, she no doubt got very uncomfortable, particularly given his admissions of trying to get handsy with her, she likely figured he would wig out on her and cause a scene if she flat out told him to fuck off and she wasn't interested in his advances so she did what women always do in situations like that - pulled the 'sorry I don't really want to date anyone right now' or 'sorry I have a boyfriend' hoping lucas would either believe it or take a hint and back off. Despite what he says, he clearly didn't back off even while claiming to, given how he reacted the instant he got out of the psych ward and saw them together. There is also the possibility that lucas, being totally unable to read social cues and body language was oblivious to the fact she literally did have a boyfriend the entire time. If she was being civil to him it was out of fear, its a common self defense mechanism with women to go along with being 'nice' until they see an out or someone comes around who can intervene if things take a turn for the worse when she tries to gtfo out of the situation. Again, any normal man recognizes when a woman isn't interested and takes a hint when they do stuff like this. Lucas just takes not being directly told to fuck off and/or not insulted and called a creep or whatever as the next best thing to an invite to pursue her, implying shes interested. No doubt she did the nervous smile thing and pusher her hair out her eyes nervously and he took that as signs of interest as well

Lucas fundamentally can't be around people without supervision, especially women. It never ends well for him. He can't read social cues at all and doesn't understand basic socially acceptable behavior despite being told over and over and over again what is and isn't appropriate and getting in trouble for it. Its not like hes some kid in elementary school not being good at talking to people. Even someone as stupid as lucas you'd think would pick up on at least a few things about behaving properly by now. He's 45 ffs. Can you imagine what it would have been like for him in prison if he got busted for the cp and underage shit? With his attitude and lack of social awareness he'd have been eaten alive by the competent predators and gotten his ass beaten on a regular basis, if not worse. His regular refusal to bathe alone would cause a ton of trouble for him. and no cellie would put up with his ranting about women, bigotry and everything else. He's got nothing worth extorting out of him except sex, which nobody would want for obvious reasons so he'd be fucked for protection. He'd end up on one of those prison stories channels getting stabbed 50 times while tied to the bunk by his cellie a week into his sentence. Especially after the block shot caller found out about his pedo history

Not only the young nurse but he also got verbally abusive with the other women staff at the shelter. That's when the shelter security arrived and kicked him out.

What's worse is he's well past the point of being reasoned with. Lucas can't have the women of his dreams because of MEGA Nazi tolerance or something, not because he's him. He's not petering out of his pure incel rage unless he's removed or hospitalized.

I'd love for a Mallon Place employee to stumble here and explain what they observe on a daily basis. As far as we know, Lucas is just assuming that they're even dating. Maybe Schizo Stacey is just hiding behind Mega Chad, and they're just friends. Maybe Mega Chad is less crazy and more trustworthy than ole Luke, so Stacey is cl8nging to him for protection.
