It's been down hill since then. Lucas is a glutton and selfish. He's got not much money and wastes it he could make killer chilli etc cooking all day with his NO FUCKING JOB and near free place. But he waddled to the closest source of calories and then we know he still has nerve to hit pantries etc. He claims he's fighting religious bigots by eating churches donated meals. reality he's a fucking gross hateful pig who wants to abuse kids.

maybe i missed it, but has Lucas ever lived by himself and had to manage his budget? before his older girlfriend situation but after leaving his parent's home.

because he's not very good at it if he's constantly on the verge of losing essentials or can't get ahead in life due to financial hardship. i think i read early on that he refuses to get any kind of normal job since he feels he's above that somehow; but food and the basics of day to day survival (medicine, water, shelter, clothes, et c) are all quite easy to come by in the Pacific Northwest in and around the major cities like Portland and Seattle. huge numbers of people and businesses contribute to support services.

i'm assuming he's burned all those bridges and refuses to "stoop" to day olds and hand-me-downs given his elitist attitude and single minded focus on failing to attract women (girls, really) little better than half his age. but you'd figure he could put two and two together to figure out that hardly anyone wants to be involved with a bum who does nothing but inflate an ego and demand a lifestyle they can't support.

Obviously this is crazy, no adult goes back to childhood when recounting relationship history, but Lucas at the time seemed to think that by telling girls he'd already been with 8, he would give the impression of having had his hand stamped, being in the club. He never offers details about any relationship other than Suzanne, which was likely the only sexual relationship he's ever had.

These are lies which Lucas spouts with less frequency than before, because his current scheme is schizo board games.

Like everything else, this lie was just a means to an end.

To whit: after long professing the benefits of "age gapped" relationships, you would imagine that a sincere man would be happy seeing all the "grey beards" with the "hoodrats with the thick thighs" (Lucas has his own vernacular, much like OPL) hr would be overjoyed; after all, this is what he had been preaching, right?

But when he saw this ( if it wasn't his schizo imagination) he got FURIOUS.

because the telomere plot was only about getting him laid, never about "helping the DNA of the human race".

In regards to money, he's always had a payee in the past, seeing how frivolously he spends his tardbucks I imagine this is still ongoing.

Almost all the places that house the exceptional will require that the tarbdbux check be garnished so they get their rent money. If it isn't the residents would almost certainly never pay their rent. Of course, they don't or don't want to understand the consequences of not doing so (ie: getting evicted). The whole goal of those places is to help people, so they realize folks like Lucas can't be counted on to pay rent. Those places have no utility payments. Rent covers everything. I remember Lucas mentioned at one time that he had got a phone. I wonder if he still has it, or if it was shut off? His home must have wifi or somewhere near by must.
