This video is bizarre by normal standards, perhaps not by Lucas standards.
Despite being called "An advanced look at....", this video has Lucas admitting that he's never actually played this game Advanced Squad Leader... or any other game.
Ever. He "collects" these games, which means hoards them.
He holds guys within this hobby in contempt...despite talking as if he wants to be part of this hobby and trying to use in-group lingo.

Imagine how surreal it would be to be searching YouTube for board game stuff and finding one of his “reviews”.
They start off as a poorly shot but frankly pretty typical unboxing/review, but as time goes on you come to the slightly unnerving realization that this guy hasn’t actually played this game he’s discussing. Ok, whatever. He’s throwing around names like Tom Vassal, Dice Tower, Board Game Geek... he’s clearly at least familiar with the hobby, even if the sad mad can’t get a table together.
But then, the Switch! He starts a rant about women 18-24 years old, how he doesn’t want to hang out with other Gen Xers, Christians, etc.
