I can’t speak to all of it but the idea that people are complaining to social service agencies really does ring true. I know a few people in SOFALAW did that when he was threatening suicide a few months ago. I think the thing that sounds most likely is that Lucas’s halfway house peers are complaining about him. Those walls are paper thin and he’s in his room all night yelling about bigots and prove your claims and now he’s making those terrible spoken word pieces like a broody teenager at open mike night.

I guarantee you his room smells and that other residents are bothered by it. They probably have to hear him pee in his sink and fart and burp as he clamps around his room.

Here's a choice some people have to make:

2) Your junk works and you're perhaps slimmer, but you aren't stable enough to care for yourself and will likely alienate anyone who would care for you.
