From what I’ve read online fetlife is filled with tight knit local communities that most of the time put the safety of their community above all. There’s also a large SJW community as well that loves a good witch hunt.

Also there’s that pesky truth about fetlife that Lucas will never understand which is that fetlife is not a dating site. It’s not for hookups and even their search function on the website doesn’t allow you to search for members by criteria such as age, relationship status, kinks, etc. in order to discourage people from trolling for casual sex. You can search a term but all it will bring up is a list of members who’s screen name match.
