I’ve got to admit that I’m relieved I don’t live in the state of Washington. Unsurprisingly Lucas is incapable of masking his rather rich fantasy life and is making a display of his paraphilia, much to our collective disgust. That story he told about a 4 year old telling him “I want to have sex with you” is another case of his mask slipping off during one of his “performances” online. There really isn’t even a best case scenario here that one can hope for. One possibility is that Lucas was talking to a child who was being abused or otherwise exposed to sexual activity they normally should be unaware of. The other possibility is that this was a fantasy of his where a hyper-intelligent and precocious child was essentially propositioning Lucas. I’m of the opinion that the story was fictional simply because it conforms so completely with the common tropes of pedophilic fantasy. The combination of a child’s innocence with adult behaviours is the pedophile’s equivalent of a pornstar, the unrealistic object of mastabutory imagination.
That being said I don’t think Lucas has an exclusive attraction to children though if given an opportunity I think Lucas would almost certainly abuse a child. I think Lucas’ desires are driven by power, he wants to be totally in control of a woman or child and be the object of their adoration. This obsession with fertility is about women finding Lucas so alluring and attractive that they seek him out and submit to him. By breeding “Gen Z” girls who are at the cusp of their 20s, Lucas would be demonstrating not only his virility but also his value as a man. I think this explains why Lucas doesn’t employ sexworkers like men in his position often do, paying an adult woman for sex doesn’t give him any satisfaction because he knows that sexworker doesn’t adore him and is only consenting to sexual intercourse as a means to an end: Capitalism.
I actually think his so-called “interest” in boardgames stems from this. He likes the idea that he can possess the game and can manipulate it anyway he sees fit. Video games don’t really offer that because they rely on complex algorithms written in a code that can only be manipulated by individuals with a decent knowledge base that requires a great deal of effort to obtain. Owning boardgames and creating them is like a doll house, he gets to enact his will by creating any set of conditions he wants and if anyone would actually play with him, they would essentially be giving him an opportunity to realize some amount of control over them.
