Here is the relevant 2010 Text dealing with his incontinence. Looks like he struggled with some dissociative states, which to me just adds more data points to my personal belief that Lucas has a personality disorder. He blames it on the medication and I can't really fault him for that, anti-psychotics can really fuck up your biorhythms and metabolism. It is the usual stuff about alienation and his inability to function as an adult. Sporadic work, substance abuse, and trouble maintaining relationships, are common themes in mental illness. His self reported "hallucinations" sound a bit bogus to me, especially when contiguous with LSD use, it would be interesting to actually look at his some of his paperwork from that time period to see what his team was observing and in particular his clinician.

Lucas did hilariously address the what do you have to offer question, and it was exactly what you expected. He deflected the question saying if you expect anything out of him or think for yourself you're not his type. Also apparently people don't need money to become doctors, they can be doctors for vanity and to get the zoomer babes. I'm always grateful Lucas is homeless and going to die alone since nobody deserves to be subjected to living near Lucas, nor being abused by him like Suzanne was

There aren't many people like Lucas. He's rotten from top to bottom. However measured, he lacks. He is a failure on every level, a complete fuck up, revolting in thought and deed, categorically repulsive, and generally loathsome. He's almost cartoonish in his awfulness.

Lucas could be referenced as what happens if you leave mental illness untreated for several years and refuse any help I suppose. The effects of schizophrenia, bipolar, and autism can have on a person left untreated, and combined with severe entitlement/narcissism. How mental illness can effect someone single in their 40s with no friends?

Idk I'm sure you could reference Lucas somehow when talking about defective humans who refused any professional help and allowed their illness induced hallucinations to dominate their lives. Lucas is kind of a special breed of loser, most have some degree of awareness they're pathetic and just do stupid shit to try and mask it. Lucas retconned his history with his mom, as he does, by suggesting that their arguments had to do with a dispute concerning Lucas's parents' travel agency, and their inability to pay their hard-working employees fairly.

If he thinks they made their money through such worker-abusive means, kind of interesting that he dangles this million-dollar-inheritance in Blood Money as a prize for a girl to date him.

But consistency has never been his strong suit.

It's kind of like what Goldaor was trying to tell him, as critical as he is of money being used to get women, he regularly offers up his own promise of future inherited money, or current items he can buy with the "free money" he gets, which is essentially the same thing.

When Goldaor suggested that he perhaps adapt in some other ways, since he's already adapted by offering the money which he thinks is so evil to try to get a date with, Lucas got very angry, but it wasn't clear whether he didn't understand or whether he just resented the implication.

Either way the thing about his parents being evil capitalists, "in League with the Billionaires" is obviously complete Insanity; I'm imagining that a small Travel Agency in a little town like Monsanto had, what, maybe 10 employees at most?
