You could say it's proof that humans really are apes in the sense that even apes tend to drive out or kill other apes who are causing a problem or being generalized assholes outside of the social norm for the group. Rarely, some members of the social group will extend basic, "here, so you don't straight up die, but also stay over there" level kindness but nothing deeper and with no invitation to rejoin the social group.

That's what's happened to Lucas: He routinely exhibited socially unacceptable behavior and has found himself largely shunned save for a few people who occasionally take pity on him, but know perfectly well not to allow him back into the group.

I think alongside him being on a no rent list, I am not really sure Lucas wants to pay the money for an apartment, unless it is dirt cheap. He will have less money to spend on 5 star cuisine. The payee will send the money to the landlord. With what he gets in tardbux, if he pays market rate rent, he is left with barely anything. Clearly, finding housing is not a big priority for Lucas.

Lucas has said something like this in prior videos. He actually prefers being homeless because it saves him money for junk, he gets to be around people when he's homeless than laying around naked all day on his bed. Which is stupid nonsense since he could have had apartments for extremely reduced costs like under $200, but he fucked them up, and he should be getting more money if he had those apartments which would offset that, but whatever. The point is Lucas still has no desire to have that apartment, which is insane. He can't adult.
