I know that I personally think Lucas is too much of a coward to harm himself or others in most situations. Certainly in public. But, there is this increasing risk of violence that occurs when people repeatedly threaten suicide that I think could also apply to him harming others. For suicide, when individuals repeatedly threaten or attempt, they wear down and diminish the self-protective part of them that usually keeps us from harming ourselves.
I worry that at some point, the increase chimp-outs in public could wear down the fear of aggressing that he has and increase his bravado. Especially if you add in alcohol and weed.
That being said, if Lucas were alone with a girl he would not control himself. He harbors too many fantasies that women would love him if he only showed them. That plus the resentment of rejections and knowing that it’s likely the only way he will ever get laid again, yes, he’d attack a girl if he thought he was alone.
He made a video a few years ago about how he's such a great guy because he wasn't raping a girl that had passed out. Two things stood out to me in that video.
1: You don't say something like that unless you've actually considered it
2: There were witnesses present who presumably would've stopped him.
Lucas's perception of reality is pretty skewed. His belief that the rest of the world is living out the plotlines from Pornhub videos is a big part of that worldview. The nurses at HOC are getting gangbanged and men are regularly taking home multiple women. He seems to assume that the world is really just a giant swingers party and he's not invited. The concept of consent doesn't really factor into this worldview. Women are property and someone should give him a girlfriend.
If, and this is a big if, he managed to find himself alone with a girl who was intoxicated; he'd take advantage. After all, the women of Gen Z are just "Covid Sluts" and he had drinks with her and that means that they are going to have sex. That's just how the world works in his mind.
In his reality, women are innately whores who will spread their legs for anyone. If he can go on a date with a girl, she'll be his whore. It's not that he attributes any humanity to them, after all he's implied that if he utters some magic combination of words, he can undo a girl's affection for her boyfriend and she will be, almost instantly, his girlfriend.
His understanding of romantic relationships is very formulaic. Lucas + Date w/ Gen Z = Sex. He just doesn't know how to solve the equation. This is the reason he keeps asking for 'specific information' on where to go meet girls. If he can figure out where to meet them away from the men who's very existence cockblocks him, he will be able to get a date (and a date = sex).
It's also the reason he doesn't feel the need to improve himself. If I woke up tomorrow and found myself in Lucas's shoes, my first order of business wouldn't be to secure barely legal pussy. Finding a source of income, a place of residence and a means of transportation would probably top my list. Of course, I also understand that romantic relationships tend to come into existence and flourish when the other aspects of your life are under control. I, like pretty much everyone on this planet, like sex. However, it is far from the only the thing that matters in my life. I enjoy my children, my job, the company of my wife and my hobbies. I suspect most well adjusted people are like that.
Lucas is different in that regard. His whole world revolves around sex with a young girl. He doesn't need to improve himself because even in his current situation, he can go on a date (and going on a date means he's going to have sex). When I interviewed him last year, I suggested that getting his life in order would probably benefit his pursuit of a girlfriend and make him a happier person (he was implying that he wanted to kill himself). He was angry and adamant that this wasn't the case and that "Getting a girlfriend will solve my problems". Being intimate with a young woman is his meaning of life. There's nothing else that he cares about and in his mind he just has to solve the equation.
If you want to sum up his entire existance it's this:
Lucas + Date w/ GenZ = Sex
Sex = Happiness
It doesn't matter so much who he has sex with, so long as she fits into his age bracket (remember, he's proposed to an entire generation), or how he gets it. If he can just bang a young woman, his life will be complete.
