People have tried over and over to help him, he can’t be helped. I know we like to blame parents but sometimes a bad egg is a bad egg. I don’t think any set of parents could have turned Lucas into a normal, productive member of society.

The loop he finds himself in is that he doesn't think he needs help.

You have to be able to acknowledge first that you're in a situation or have a problem that you're unable to handle/fix on your own, and once you've done that, you have to be able to acknowledge and admit that you need (as opposed to want) help before any sort of assistance has any hope of sticking and helping you get your shit together.

He can't even admit he has a problem to begin with, so all the help in the world is going to do exactly fuck all.

The unfortunate catch .22 of a lot of mental illness and/or of addiction of any sort is that it convinces you that you don't have a problem and that it's everyone else that's just trying ruin your life; in that regard, Lucas is like a lot of people, homeless or otherwise, who get trapped where they are because there's not an inexpensive or easy method to force them into treatment.

Even if there were, it still loops back to the person in question both being able to admit there's an issue they can't solve AND that they need help (usually medical) to solve it. With Lucas, the clearest bit of how forced intervention or help doesn't help is that he has been forced into it before and even there, he might be a little more docile, slower, and fatter but he still has the same obsessions he has when he's unmedicated and off leash.

Forcing him into the nuthouse (which has been done a few times over the years) or even into housing where he'd be on lockdown and supervised 24/7 doesn't do him any good because he's never going to get to the point where he can admit that he has enough problems mental health wise that he needs and will be willing to accept help.

He's the human equivalent of a money pit because of that.

Did his parents fuck up? Probably, nobody's parents are perfect, but Lucas clearly had some level of brain damage (if his mom's high fever story is true) and, if not that, clearly had some mental health issues that started manifesting at a very young age that were missed by his parents or doctors or that his parents chose to ignore because they didn't want the stigma of it. Even if they hadn't there's still a good chance it wouldn't have done any good. He's been defective since he was a kid and not every defective headmeat can be made "normal" or even propped up enough that it'll be anything remotely approaching a functional human being.

You can't help someone who doesn't want help, and Lucas doesn't want help.

Also, pedophiles are straight up human defects and just sort of need to be done away with. There's no fixing a pedo, the best you can do is muzzle it and keep it chained up and hope it never gets near a child.

100% agree, for me to make that kind of cash I have to work in my warehouse and out in the loading zone for 120 hours a month, Lucas gets this money for being an exceptional human being for 30-31 days a month. It is great that there are safety nets for people who actually need them, but Lucas is most definitely taking money from someone who actually needs it, there is probably a mother with 3 hungry children being cash-blocked by "Mr. Cockblocks are everywhere". There are good ways to support mentally ill individuals and there are poor ways of supporting them, leaving them to their own devices while unmedicated and financially inept is obviously not the correct move. Having him committed and off the street is a great move, having him in a state funded mental hospital frees up SSI and resources that could actually go to someone who needs them. Him taking in that stimulus check is disgusting, him having the gaul to complain about it being $1400 and not higher is distasteful and deplorable. Think about how many times he has lost his phone, he doesn't register this as a problem, not unlike someone who has their business and livelihood connected to that phone. The saddest thing about him, is that Lucas is given things like phones, expensive meals, motel 6 stays and he takes them for granted, because he knows he will get them every month, while on the flip side others are denied rent, starve on occasions, and are scolded and chastised for their problems when they strive and work diligently to better their situations. Lucas doesn't know how good he actually has it and how hard it is for the American blue collar worker to pull in decent wages and afford the things they need and the things their families need.

Has Lucas ever justified why he can't/doesn't work? He mentioned not having a job since 1999 in that one old video but I don't think he tried to justify it at that point, and other than that he just doesn't talk about it, as if it's a complete non-issue. Assuming he's not lying, which he very well may be, he's said he's been in therapy (at least on and off) since he was 8 years old and after his last really long (about a year) involuntary stay he referenced being in therapy several times in videos from the time shortly after he was let out.

He's beyond help in the sense that he's not someone who ever was or ever will be capable of living independently and without supervision.

He's also beyond help when it comes to him wanting to fuck underaged kids, as even when he was in therapy and on medication in his own videos on his own channel that's all he talked about: Wanting to fuck and impregnate young girls.

As soon as he's been away from basically court ordered meds/supervision he's straight up said that he doesn't want to take medication and, because of the patient right's act from 1993, he can't be legally forced to do so unless he's declared incompetent by the court system to make his own medical decisions. He's also bragged on video that he's had at least one of those hearings and "held it together long enough to fool the judge".

His mimicking is an attempt to fit in and get (and maintain) friends, which isn't all that abnormal, non-Lucas people do it all the time; the problem is he's not subtle about what he's doing so all he gets is trolled and taken advantage of. I'd honestly be surprised if actual cognitive testing didn't put him at having the mental level of an 8-10 year old child. Whatever is wrong with him, a lot of it might be manageable if he were forced into a situation where he wasn't allowed to live independently and had his access to the internet heavily restricted or taken away, was forced to remain on medication, and was forced to remain in therapy, but none of it would be fixable and he'd never get to a point where he'd be able to manage it himself.

I don't work, I didn't come home right from deployment, and not working eats away at me. How can he be comfortable with living on tard bux? Oh wow I didn't know he was still active on YouTube. His show is garbage the highlights were the prank calls from the Something Awful days that got him really wound up on air. He makes a point to gate keep against the trolls and haters, it's unwatchable and unfunny without them. But yes you'd be correct he is not gorgeous, he is a pig.

He's still talking about his same trolls almost 20 years later, I was in computer class on Ebaums World back in middle school when I started following GAY and he is still going on about the trolls its unbelievable, he still keeps fixating on them and it cost him his house trying to fight them in court lol. Looks like he is doing better than our boy Wern though with a delivery job and a place to live.
