He's good looking and i think alot of us find him attractive because he's the computer nerd type.
That's why shitter fans like him, sure although most of them seem to prefer him as an underage boy. To me he looks like an average frat/gymbro in pre-arrest pics, and he had a definite ratface until he was about 21 years old. He was a programming nerd and a weeb but he's not really into other traditionally nerdy stuff and his engineer posturing is basically a joke. As we liked to say on lc, he was an ugly duckling that glowed up into our retarded swan... Schizigi is best igi.
Personally I didn't find him attractive til I saw him out there looking relatively unbothered in the perp walk, standing tall while surrounded by cops trying to intimidate. It was very sexy. Just look at him eyeing the gun.

as much as I want to beat him now I still think this was attractive
he decided to risk his life to fight for his beliefs when he had everything going for him.
KEK no he did not. The dude was never an activist, no history of having any convictions at all, and he still doesn't. He mostly wanted to be celebrated for doing something to make a statement the normies would understand (and he still missed, I think, considering his remaining fans are mostly preoccupied with his cute face and anyone serious has pretty much moved on). He couldn't even explain it in his manifesto after writing about being totally convinced it was the right thing to do.
Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago, and the problems simply remain. ... Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.
Can't wait til the Best Buy laptop evidence shows that he was Googling himself. Probably looking at thirst edits when they caught him.

He's a fucking murderer, dingbat dear.

And I think you are in the wrong place. But do go on about how he's not like the other murderers because he's hot (ymmv).
I mean controversial but men wank over all sorts of things, I think women thirsting over him is fine as long as you keep it unrelated to the murder/crime itself and just think he's hot. However I would also like to point out that we've all spent a lot of time looking at his face by this point and got familiarised with it, and have forgot how fucking uneven his eyes are.

To add on to what I said about Ezra Miller, a lot of the BPD/hybristo orbiters have turned out to be in their early or mid 30s, or older. You can split a lot of his fanbase into 30 - and 15 year olds, and the 30+ year olds would have been 15 when We Need to Talk About Kevin came out.

I'm from the UK and I think I read the story or maybe learned about it at school at some point, that the real Robin Hood was an aristocrat (Robin of Locksley) who was disposessed after returning from the crusades and the poor felt was fighting on their behalf against the Sheriff of Nottingham who had raised taxes to unsustainable levels. He obviously couldn't keep all the gold while hiding in the forest, and also it meant that the villagers of Sherwood didn't turn him in to the Sheriff. Wikipedia says this is actually wrong, and that the aristocrat origin stuff wasn't added until the late 18th century, so 300-ish years later, and that all of the early legends about him say he was a yeoman (upper middle class, wealthy not landed gentry). The earliest original tales didn't include the part about giving money to the poor, but were actually shared by the aristocracy / landed gentry and featured outlaw Robin giving a loan to a dispossessed knight (landed gentry) with the money he stole and then not asking for the money back.

Robin did become a benefactor to the poor when the story began to be repeated by poor people, but the focus was always mostly on him being an outlaw fighting the Sheriff of Nottingham (basically the head of law enforcement for the shire directly appointed by the king ... I guess the US equivalent would actually be Jessica Tisch) because of laws unfairly penalising the poor over the rich. A guy named Joseph Ritson in the late 18th century wrote a popular 'biography' of Robin Hood that made him being a disposessed aristocrat who stole from the rich to give to the poor the central part of the mythos because he was a supporter of the French Revolution and wanted it to happen in the UK. Also Friar Tuck was one of the earliest parts of the mythos too, much earlier than Maid Marian, and one of Robin Hood's closest supporters/allies but Ritson was an atheist and somewhat responsible for turning him into the fat bastard comedy relief he is today.

Anyway by being a middle class guy who's commonly perceived as generous and kind, who is now up against Jessica Tisch, he kind of is Robin Hood.

Meh, there's an ocean between acknowledging someone is attractive and actively lusting for them, nevermind idealizing them. He's a good-looking guy. People can and will pick apart any asymmetries or dislike his hair, or whatever, but nah, he's a good-looking kid*. But Bundy, Dahmer, and Manson were all passably attractive, too. And so are many garden-variety criminals. It doesn't change that he murdered an unarmed, unaware man with no opportunity to respond**. This wasn't a duel; it was a cowardly, cold-blooded murder that is no different than a drive-by or a murder-kidnapping.

* I say kid bc he's my kids' age, not bc I think he's a child or too young to be held accountable at all.

**yes, I get that people think that that is just desserts.

Actively lusting after the guy is weird and creepy and lame. Joe Jonas is at least not (has not been revealed to be) a cold-blooded yet dumb killer.

He's also nothing close to middle-class.

I think I have a different perspective on class than you do as a brit, being very aware of having a literal aristocracy; to me, Luigi is upper middle class but still middle class. I will leave the debate to whether he's american upper class or not to people actually from your country, because there's a very definite meaning to upper class here and he isn't it.

Free my boy Luigi. He did nothing wrong.
He doesn't deserve freedom because he was such a retard that he didn't throw all that evidence that was on him into a dumpster in the five days he was on the run. He even left chewed gum full of his DNA in that backpack with Monopoly money he left in Central Park. Worst of all, he's ultra cringe. I hope he never leaves prison.

upon hearing all of this myself i immediately assumed that his goal was to get caught in order to send some kind of message to the general public while making a name for himself. if that wasn't his initial intention, then he really is retarded

Either he wanted to be caught (still retarded for choosing prison) or he intended to suicide and chickened out/waited too long, or he thought he lost them. he is a genius and an engineer, after all.

If he'd have blammed the rich man and just... never been caught? That would have really been something, the myth would have been glorious.
His intent wasn't to do something bigger though, he only ever craved recognition, cringe and gay as I'm sure we'll see when he inevitably takes the stand.

I don't think it would have been, not knowing who it was would have left it open for some less radical narrative to be reported on in its place, like he had unpaid debts or something. The monopoly money could have easily been spun into something like that, and the media might have just never reported on the bullets. That wasn't reported on until 2 days after the shooting when they probably had an idea of what narrative they were willing to go with, terrorism.

I think him taking the stand is a terrible idea but we've got quite a long time for him to be talked out of it, hopefully.

Just look at the wonderment that comes out D. B. Cooper to this very day, and look at the measurable lackingment present in weegee in comparison, the potential of not knowing would have been better IMO.

Terrible for his well-being? Oh most certainly, terribly awesome for content? I can't wait for it.

I wanna know what his excuses are, we're gonna be trapped in pre-trial purgatory for ages yet, but when it finally gets aired will it classic insanity (BORING) or some actual interesting justification? You just know there won't be a plea deal, it's not in anybody's interest now, the powers that be want him to SUFFAH but he himself will be all about... how he's portrayed, this is recipe for quality 🌈

Funny you say that, there's an old anime with that premise (although in the anime he didn't pull the trigger).
Ghost in the shell: Standalone complex, The laughing man case.
Highly recommend.

I had literally never heard of DB Cooper before this, he's probably a big mystery in the US but Luigi is internationally reknowned if less mysterious.
Also like I posted on the first page, the prosecutor was chosen for his history of arguing down insanity defenses, so if they do go insanity plea it won't be to Luigi's benefit.

LC used to mention feeling like Karen or the feds were reading the threads and I feel the same myself right now.

It's an internationally renowned "what fuck even happened?" tale from decades ago, that people will still be talking about 100 maybe even 1000 years from now, because how downright mysterious it is. Same deal with other classics like "who put Bella down the wych elm" and what even is goblin teepee.

Weegee has no such mystery about him, it's some personal level bullshit that's a dime a dozen, the only thing special about it is he acted on his impulses and the reposing behind that part is what'll be the little legacy he has... Other than the fangirls of course.

Based on Karen's konduct thus far I wouldn't be so sure her idea of "best interest" aligns with realties idea of "most likely to not get her client put on death row", she should join the forum it'd be funny.
It's only too bad we won't have cameras to see it. I'm reminded of this anon:

...The implication of this is that they wanna re-enact the prison rape scene isn't it :suffering:

That anon didn't, and in the original threads they were very against prison rape because gays and gay sex are fujo and gross, but later on there were nonas getting off to that and the idea of him getting the chair. Probably the same tourists who were posting about baby weegee's high school graduation photo on tumblr. I should have included picrel anon in my conspiracy round-up.

I know I'm still being optimistic, but the whole point of the domino meme is that you don't know what the bigger dominos are going to be. Luigi already has a domino meme based on some horrific sounding blow up doll video that one of his old schoolfriend made. Did DB Cooper actually have any lasting effect except as a curiosity?

for illustration, this man pictured is in his early 20s (so is at his peak testosterone levels) and has trained wrestling and combat sport all his life.
I agree with that he was probably roided, but it's worth pointing out that combat sports physiques are different than bodybuilding (aesthetic focused physiques).

There is some overlap but training for looks and training for function do have different results. Explosiveness and being able to go 3-5 rounds results in less mass than if only mass is the goal.

Ehhh you can blame it on "tourists" and you mightn't be wrong, but it's 100% living to the stereotype LF users have, no smoke without fire and all that (no offense to newfriends I'm sure you'll all be Good Ones (tm))

Oh I'm sure we'll see many more dominos fall for weegeeboi yet but the reveal of his setup is much more minuscule; once the trial is over and his fate decided that's all he'll be, the likes of D. B. Cooper will be inspiring thought for far longer is what I'm saying; there's simply more potential.

Yeah I doubt he was ever into powerlifting, one thing that's consistent with juicing is regardless of the actual exercise being done is that they're gonna grow regardless, which is why the dudebros kinda look the same shapewise they all read the same broscience.
