Border Collies are the reason that Britain had a long running show called "One Man and his Dog" that was just televised sheep-herding trials.

It's a confluence of Null's ODD causing him to beef with everyone and the people on the Rekieta board being the kind of circlejerky A&N fags that can't forgive their one-time edaddy for being a swinger or whatever. There's a sizeable right-wing circlejerk on the site looking for reasons to be mad about people. They want Null to talk shit about Rekieta, and Null feels compelled to fly into exhaustive debate and deliberation anytime anyone in his circles gets mad at the site, so they feed off each other. Most of the Ralph content was the same way, people just forget that because genuinely interesting stuff would happen every few months.
The Rekieta stuff is crazy boring by comparison. I don't wanna sit through 15 minutes listening to Null ramble about whether the way weird Rekieta pronounced the word "hookers" on some literallywho's podcast means he feels subconscious guilt about being a tranny fucker or whatever they're accusing him of now. I don't wanna listen to Null self-righteously preach about not fucking your fans or drinking alcohol or whatever, like he's an authority on how to live. He's got good insight into crazy people and how crazy people act, but when it comes to normie ecelebs he only has one or two insights and he trots them out every time the A&N brigade produces a forensic analysis of Rekieta's Tiktok scroll time or how he puts the cap on a bottle or whatever. It's tedious, and it's why I stopped listening live so I can fast forward through it. I'd rather have more lolcow stuff and less of this edrama but I guess minor lolcow happenings don't get the views.

Border Collies are the one true uberhund. Very smart, incredibly agile.

The downside to Collies is as someone pointed out, they are very energetic and need a fair amount of exercise and looking after.

"One man and his dog" had ASMR-like qualities.

We have a Cocker-Spaniel. Fairly smart, very friendly and energetic, without being yappy and annoying. I've had several people say "good starter dog", and indeed she is our first dog. Someone recommended Beagles. They're quite similar, quite a few where we are, though I know one that's very grumpy and another that's friendly but can be stubborn and growls/nips when so.

None of mine have been exactly stupid (Westies, three of them) but the family and then my siblings and me when we aged have had a load of different breeds ranging from dumb as rocks (two golden retrievers) to smart as a child (European doberman, a couple of poodle/spaniel mixes) and I rate the terriers as middling I suppose. Smart and friendly enough to be great pets and working dogs.

Ralph was funny to react to though. Like he would get so drunk that he would have imaginary conversations with Andrew Tate, live on air. All Rekieta does after getting drunk is talk shit, make some sixth grader level ACK ACK ACK jokes, and then follow it up with "I like X. I hope they make all the money in the world. I would suck X's dick dry".

I read the Rekieta's thread almost daily, and I haven't seen anyone there asking NULL to react/comment (on MATI) about Rekieta in months now. And there is no way NULL and Rekieta are gonna bury the hatchet after what Rekieta did.

Sony is unilaterally removing content from customer libraries due to licensing issues with Discovery. Customers who purchased Discovery content (Mythbusters for instance) through Sony's digital store (discontinued in 2021) have had their previously purchased content removed from their library without recourse. The basic premise of Nick being a pale mockery of Ralph is correct. He's not even that, he was always cringe with his toasts and his sermonising. His descent into cowdom is sometimes entertaining but there's no guarantee. A Ralph segment on MATI is always welcome imo, I'd argue the core of the fucking show for a while even, absolute classic MATi. Nick segments are skippable, I agree with the copypasta. Saying that, I know some people got bored of the Ralph era, I'm personally glad the Rekeita stories are more sporadic.
