I was retarded to assume you'll be wiser and wouldn't do any of the stupid stuff people told you to do. But since I heard you say you actually poured soapy water on your plants I figured intervention is overdue. Sorry I didn't advise you earlier I really thought you'll ask professionals how to get rid of aphids. This joke is entirely on me.
Locate closest agricultural pharmacy. Once you know where you are going pluck a leaf from your infested plant, or take a photo of it. Show the dude at the counter your problem and ask for a solution. At the same time you can ask them other questions about plants while there if you have any, for example can you eat the peppers soon after spraying them or to wait it out and how long. They'll sell you something, usually powder, or liquid. Liquid can be concentrated or diluted ready for use. They'll tell you how to use what ever you get. You mix it with water and spray the entire plant with it. Aphids gone forever.
Ask for smallest pack, you don't need 50 or 20 liter of solution for that many plants. Mix the entire content with as much water they tell you. If you get pack for 50 litre and try microdosing it you risk harming your plants.
If you are deep inside urban area you might not know where to find the shop you need, in that case ask in any flower shop, they might not have chemical you need but they'll direct you where to get it.
I get aphids every year on my roses, and sometimes other flowers and cherry trees. They almost never return after a single dose of this powder that costs between 2 and 3 bucks for 10 or 20 litre solution. It's cheap and effective. Aphids will die, and your plant will be covered in gross aphid corpses, just brush them off with a soft brush or cloth. I never had aphids infestation this late in summer, I always sprayed them long before the fruits started growing, so make sure to tell them you plan to eat the plants so they'll give you proper stuff.

This step is important if aphid-eaters are not used, and many people skip it. A cheap, shitty makeup brush has worked very well for me when dusting my indoor plants. It's one of those big-ish poofy ones for powder foundation/finish with bristles about 4.5 cm long when only measuring the exposed part. It's a vital tool to have if your plants ever get a case of the spidermites, too. Wishing you luck, Josh.

I don’t know if it’s been suggested to you yet, but if you can get a hold of some stinging nettle you can make a fermented spray for the aphids that won’t hurt the plants. Alternatively, if you can find some potted nettle you can put it around your vegetables and it will lure the aphids towards it.

It's an ideoligion, it's both a system of governance down to taxes, administration, etc rolled into a religion. What Jersh talked about @27:00 in today's episode sounds just a lot like behavioral sink theory (watch this and maybe this if you're interested), based on experiments on mice (rats too but the mouse experiments were bigger) in crowded but otherwise good conditions, meant to simulate the mouse equivalent of a modern city. There was literally a non-reproductive class of mouse developed which had no interest in normal mouse socialization/activities and the female mice kept eating their babies and shit so the whole population died out. There were also rodents that became so accustomed to eating with their brethren that when put in a box of food alone they would starve to death.
