By the way there is some minor inconsistency in what Null said in the last few weeks. I remember distinctly you/him making a big thing out of how women can totes still reproduce perfectly fine when they're way past the wall (I think it was in the shoeonhead person stream), but on the national friendship day stream on rekieta, you/he brought up barb having chris way into her late thirties/early fourties and that having an adverse effect on the end result.

So which is it? Indefinite flawless reproduction or decay of ovaries and womb? I don't think validating dead-eggers' copes is a healthy thing to do.

Yeah the people like us who grew up with at minimum 9/11 let alone desert storm know this is the right move its called ripping off the band-aid. No exit would be without cost and now at least its done. Nobody who served a tour in Afghanistan is against the pull out the place was a hell hole and the locals (mostly children) hated them and threw rocks at the mobile units daily. Disgusting place with dumb ass people and bad food, awful climate nobody likes it.

Seeing a bunch of alleged libertarians and anti-intervention "nationalists" crawl out of the woodwork to screech about how we can't end our endless foreign wars is such a weird phenomenon. The whole pullout debacle has shown a lot of people as being hypocrites.

i have yet to see anybody argue that america should unironically STAY in afghanistan tbh
well except bill kristol lol
but online the bitching is 100% about how the withdrawal looks more like a chaotic rout than an orderly retreat

I conflate "we must send the army back to have a fighting retreat" with "this is my excuse so we stay there forever" because that's what Obama's temporary troop surge ended up being. Temporary emergency measures have the nasty habit of becoming the new normal.

I don't know I'm not a military general. You should direct that question to someone who may have better insight on the issue. Try Tucker Carlson he is clearly qualified on the situation.

oh yeah right now it is WAY too late to have anything resembling an orderly or fighting retreat and sending in more troops is a retard bait move

what i mean is, the decision to leave the country was made like a year ago, should have been more than enough time to prepare and execute a proper exit strategy. instead it seems like nobody prepared for anything at all so now they have thousands of burger civilians still stuck in the country, an overcrowded airport full of chaos and dead civilians, and talichads posing with looted guns and humvees while burgers and britbongs are screaming at each other trying to find someone to blame for the whole mess. that's why people are fuming at biden.

I know a few ex-soldiers who aren't too happy with the Afghanistan situation, they are happy we're pulling out be they feel like their time in the middle east was a waste and any sacrifice they made were for nothing. I don't really know what to tell them, the ANA was always going to fail and the Afghan gov was always going to collapse. The US and coalition knew this 20 fucking years ago when we got involved and they knew 30 years ago when the Soviets pulled out.

I think a lot of people just want some sort of closure on Afghanistan and watching the US fuck up it's withdrawal, the Afghan peoples seemingly refusal to fight after two decades of "training" and the images of the Taliban's new toys payed for by Uncle Sam certainly aren't helping.
