@Null I saw you talk about being opposed to copyright/IP on your stream, sadly I was too late to be able to superchat. If you really wanna get into the history of copyright and IP as a whole and why it's bullshit I'd
HIGHLY recommend (economists) Boldrin/Levine's "Against Intellectual Monopoly" and (former patent lawyer) Stephan Kinsella's book "Against Intellectual Property".
Both are free to read online and make convincing arguments from the pro-free-market/lolbert side on why IP is incompatible with capitalism and private property rights. The first IP law in modern history was literally called the "Statute of Monopolies" and it was passed into Engl*sh common law in 1623, this doctrine is officially 400 years old now. The entire idea of calling it "intellectual property" was a propaganda trick used to wave away criticisms by free market economists in the 1800s
Would a libertarian society recognize patents as legitimate? What about copyright? In Against Intellectual Property, Stephan Kinsella, a patent attorney of many years’ experience, offers his response to these questions.
