Seriously, I fuckin hate people like this who just bitch about society while continuing to indulge in every facet of it.Something to consider for the reddit segment, a hobo goes to /r/vagabond to complain about farmland. Even his fellow hobos aren't having anything anything to do with his shit philosophy which boils down to "I want all the benefits of modern society with none of the inconveniences that come with it"

In an incident that occurred on August 25, 2023, at a home on Quarry Hollow Road in Friendsville, 68-year-old Jeffrey Scott West died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, and 24-year-old Kyle W. Spitze sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right ear. The Blount County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident began with an argument between West and Spitze inside the home. During the argument, West pulled out a gun and shot at Spitze, grazing his ear. Spitze and another person then ran outside and called 911. Despite efforts by the Sheriff’s Crisis Negotiations and SWAT teams to negotiate, West was later found dead in the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound

I'm gonna add the Orthodox perspective to the matter of churches and their wealth/appearance.
When the Church started out the places of worships were the basement of Insulae(Roman Apartment Complexes) or a tree on the outskirt of a town/village. As Christianity was legalized in the Roman Empire and elsewhere and also the communities grew wealthier purpose built buildings became the norm, some going as far back as the 3rd century AD. But when Christianity spread in the early days of a community a tree was still commonly used in places like the far east or new world until the community can build a church. Even now when new housing developments are made and a new church is built some sermons are held on the church grounds before the building is built.
The reason our churches are bedecked in icons and have intricate constructions even when made out of wood is that to us prayer is not just the spoken and unspoken word. A prayer can be sung, can be painted, carved in stone or built brick by brick. The church is a prayer of the craftsmen who build it and of those that funded it's construction as well as of the community that utilizes it. When you take into consideration that to us salvation is not just our deeds and belief but also the love we leave on the world and that until the 2nd coming our salvation/damnation is not set in stone and can be impacted by what we leave on earth then the state of our churches makes sense. Those who build and decorate the church hope that they might inspire others belief in God and in turn those saved help them be saved. And it's carried on with traditions like a church praying and uttering the names of those who built the church centuries after they have perished.
tl;dr white people like to have nice commonsI'm gonna add the Orthodox perspective to the matter of churches and their wealth/appearance.

Cain & Abel both worshiped the Lord in their own distinct ways and the Lord still favored one over the other because their method of worship was superior in the eyes of the Lord. God doesn't make concessions should one form of worship be more personally appealing to you over another. This defense of extravagant buildings of worship isn't cogent.A prayer can be sung, can be painted, carved in stone or built brick by brick.

This is actually kind of interesting. I found something on it.Body builders are spiritual trannies, they literally all have body dysmorphia which is why they come off as creepy and faggy.
If you're gonna work out prioritize health and strength over size and looks.
>Gay men try to make themselves look like what they desire
Yeah but the root concept seems to be the idea that obsessive disorders specifically geared towards self-image can physically manifest in these types of sexual ways. This probably has very broad implications beyond autoandrophilia or autogynephilia, though I doubt there's that much accurate research on the topic because it seems like it'd be institutionally skewed in one obvious direction.>Gay men try to make themselves look like what they desire
Not really surprising tbh
>Gym Bros are the Gay version of "if I can't be with them then I will become them"
I think 4chan's /fit/ is probably the funniest online example of this.>Gym Bros are the Gay version of "if I can't be with them then I will become them"
Well that screenshot specifies "androphilic men", so homosexuals. It doesn't seem to mention anything when it comes to heterosexuals. You would have to be attracted to men in the first place to experience "erotic target identity inversion" and start getting off on yourself in the mirror.Yeah but the root concept seems to be the idea that obsessive disorders specifically geared towards self-image can physically manifest in these types of sexual ways.
