Not really bro. It's a completely different mechanism. You can't become what you're attracted to if you're not attracted to that thing in the first place. Body dysmorphic women who think they have monkey brow ridges or are obese even though their period has stopped from malnutrition are not sexually attracted to having a hole in your face or to other anorexic women. Vanity and body dysmorphia are their own seperate issues. I may be biased though because I am OBSESSED and will NOT REST until I have a 20 INCH HORSE NECK.

You'd think so, but I've seen paraphilias spread memetically in various communities of degenerates throughout the history of the internet (documented on sites like this and ED) so I don't believe the neural connection between fixation and fetishization is as distinct as you'd hope. In practice I think sexuality is continuously molded by environment and behavior and anyone can be made into any sort of degenerate if their brain is poisoned in specific ways with specific types of sustained and intense inputs.

I like nice churches because I don’t want to stare at a fucking drop ceiling or what looks like a fucking early 2000’s mall aesthetics with shitty acoustics. I go to a church to pray to get into a mindset that allows me to meditate better. Having a nice common area or place of worship is fine.
How to define a nice church matters. I’ve been inside awful cathedrals and nice little chapels that are retrofitted from small homes/ hunting cabins from 17th Century to 20th century. The reasons why the Catholic and Orthodox commissioned huge Churches was basically a flex by countries, secular and religious leaders, communities wanting a nice place to meet, and crazy rich+talented people wanting to make something that doesn’t make them want to kill thrmselves.
Also for the people quoting the Bible, Joseph was a carpenter/ craftsman do you think that he’d raise Jesus not to appreciate good craftsmanship?

Even though this is an impressively bad read on the scripture (cain was punished for making a meager offering and therefore eating richly, while Abel was rewarded for making a rich offering and therefore eating meagerly) and into the new testament as well, christ praising the widow who gave pennies (all she had) while unimpressed by the rich who gave much much more.
The results of impressive acts of worship by craftsmanship are something that are palpable inside the building, but I've been inside beautiful absolutely gorgeous churches which bear obvious signs of decline and growing neglect. I've seen churches which have been converted into buildings of commerce due to their congregation dying. I have no doubt that those European churches will meet the same fate as their congregations shrink, maybe they won't turn into places of commerce but instead become state-sponsored places to get gay married by some quadroon non-binary abomination. Just as you can't just have 18 whitenigger kids with BPD trash to save da huwhite race, you can't worship with your craftsmanship and neglect your community and expect your worship to God to stand.
