I've been replacing galvanized with PEX. I find it preferable since it doesn't rust, it's just chemicals. Sure, copper is nice but with my copper skills I'd end up burning down the house.

Interestingly, the developer of this was also working on the "RBC-9", a roller delayed, belt fed carbine using 9mm.
Not sure how practical it is but it certainly is a cool project

Last summer I was working on a 50-ish year old house where they had to have the entire thing replumbed because the minerals in the water corroded the copper pipes over time. I'm not a plumber personally but the plastic won't corrode like that and it holds up to freezing better so I don't have any reservations about using it

No, it's not that the designs are generic and I find it believable they're computer assisted designs, I'm just so mentally ill I can't help myself. I guess even though I said nothing negative about the game, I'm trying to hate it for some reason?

The comment is kind of right. The Palworld haters were very mad about the game and there was accusations that the game was AI generated and another accusation that the models were ripped from Pokemon. Both turned out to be false.

Related. The legal statement about Nintendo/Game Freak/The Pokemon Company keeping a close eye on Palworld. I think that statement was put out just to shut up the haters who were spamming social media (and I guess e-mails) telling them to sue. Given how quick they were to shut down the pokemon mods, I assume they would have shut Palworld down by now if they had a leg to stand on.

RE: Null's rant on LA face. One of the cutest actresses in Hollywood has absolutely decimated her face recently and people online have started to notice.

Here's a question for the thread. What are your favorite MATI episodes/moments? For me I like the Jim Sterling Unsubscriber Specials because I had no clue about Sterling and Null was clearly a big fan so he knows everything about what Jim says. I'm also a fan of Patrick posting.

What is someone 'taking photos of' and/or publishing? The law simply needs to catch up with and adapt to this technology as it needs to with any other. But we know that the feds won't do that, because they want their excuse to take it away completely and wield it themselves for nefarious purposes.

Was the generated child porn and revenge porn worth it, coomers? They're why we can't have nice things and they ruin fucking everything they get their crusty hands on. I mean damn, we just wanted to make pics of Josh seething over cheddar, kiwi birds chilling with dogs and pitbulls being airdropped into the middle east.

Obviously no matter what aspects are outlawed, degenerates will still create and share that sort of content in secret. Laws aren't exactly 100% effective when applied to genuine images of CP, revenge porn, rape porn, zoosadism, etc after all. It's one of the reasons why outlawing the AI itself won't work and will mostly serve to punish those who abide by the law; similarly to the idea of taking guns from everyone because of a few nutcases, rather than just punishing said nutcases. The proper way to handle these things is a delicate balancing act that will never be perfect and undergoes great upset when the feds get up to their shenanigans, as well as when there are no laws to apply to the truly deranged. The genie can't be put back into the bottle, now it's just a matter of tempering how he's dealt with.
