I think low T Tom might be right here. It's what I was thinking when Trump won.

What I'm talking about is right at 6:30. I do think while he is in office, there is a good chance that we see a similar situation as we did in 2016. Where the lefties start pushing hard in media. Obviously that remains to be seen, but that usually is how things go.

Edit to avoid a double post.

I went back and checked the comment section on that brittoid video. There like 14 now. When YouTube randomly recommended that video there were 0. Would be wholesome if the kiwis were the people leaving him encouragement.

I think there is always going to be interest in the people criticizing the current party in power, but the American left looks to be in much worse shape currently than it was in 2016. In 2016, the shock of a Trump win united a lot of the various factions under an orange man bad umbrella. The current left reminds me of the Post-W, Pre-Trump right where distinct divides existed (Ron Paul libertarians, Tea Party populists and paleoconservatives, people interested in primarily Christian issues, Neocon cocksuckers). Purely anecdotally, all of the anti-Trump people I know just seem completely worn-out.

I just don't see the American left wielding the same level of power as the first Trump admin. Feel free to mock this post when I am completely wrong and Obersturmbannführer Keith Olbermann puts us all in concentration camps.

You could be right. Obviously it's too soon to say what will happen. I do expect to see people really trying to push hard from the left. I do see the despair from that side also. I do think the biggest difference is how much everyone except the left at this point is just sick of progressive bullshit.

I'm not even right wing really. But I can't stand all the tranny and LGBT shit, all the wierd contradictorily Islamic stuff, where they are simping for people that make the furthest right alt-righter look like liberals purely because they hate America. Pushing for insane policies that even someone with just a rudimentary understanding of economics, and social issues will realize are just a bad idea.

So I do think just because of how sick the general population is of the vocal minority that is breadtubers, far left streamers, and company policies that bend to what they want. That could help.

Black man tries to explain that allowing boys to play in girls sports is an unpopular position that hurts Democrats. He tires to say that the Democrats have inflicted this on themselves through constantly purity testing their own representatives into insane positions that no normal people hold. This angers a small hat man, who starts denouncing him for failing the purity test during a segment speculating why support for the Democrat candidate dropped. Somehow the irony never hits the small hat man.

How dareth my negro-child speak up against me. Enjoy the plantation, little boy girl child stalker.

I hadn't heard much of Bret Weinstein since Covid died down, but I was checking out his post election podcast when his wife, Heather, dropped some bombs that made me think I was watching an episode of Mati for a second. Enjoy a PhD in evolutionary biology using the word troons:

Heather was always the more based of those two.

Not a person stream, but a personal fav of mine is when he watched and commented on Traiq Nashneed's magnum opus Buck Breaking. It's literally some gay nigger shit, but it's hilarious.

The Hollie Dance person stream was interesting but also infuriating because she's a horrible, horrible woman.

That's a "spotlight" and they are all neatly listed at the mati website. Their number is limited and you can go throught them all in a weekend or two, so not sure if there's a point in recommending one specifically.

For a favorite stream, it's hard to pick because there's a lot of them. Maybe "Talking with Jim / Sep 17, 2022" it's not a regular stream with a mix of news and happenings, it's person focused, but also not a spotlight:
