I work with one of those automated machines.

They are big expensive pieces of shit, it breaks down damn near every week, and everytime these new automated machines break down the entire warehouse needs to be shut down.

I fear no robot, because a robot can't do half the job I can.

When I mail something via Amazon I just click on the button on their website and they take care of everything for me with the package usually arriving within a day or two. In 5 years of using them I've only had one instance of a package just mysteriously getting dropped and they refunded me when I asked promptly.

I mailed something via USPS for the first time on the 14th. It's now almost the 20th and it still hasn't arrived at its destination. I can see on the tracking website that it's in the destination state but I have no further information except that it's "moving through network and arriving late." Not only that, but the postage (for a 2lbs package) was much more expensive than what I usually pay in Amazon delivery fees. Complete dogshit tier service. Someone explain this to me.

i used to work fedex. Amazon used to use ups and fedex before they got their own planes. Also, fedex has a major fucking contract with usps for the cross country mail. ive seen a lot of chickens, chick, baby ducks, roosters, and bees go through the usps allocation of fedex space.

seriously fuck amazon. They ship so much tacky chinky garbage. And would blow out major plane space. Good money but my god.

the postaloids in this thread can have their amazon isis executions when they explain how I can pay 14 dollars for postage + more for priority mail on a 2 pound package and still have it be in fucking limbo with no further elaboration

Surely the lesson from John Henry was not that the machine lost forever.
Hydraulic industrial robots sucked and would go into wild orbit, now you can see x,000 cap machines join together vehicles with such precision it is like art, but not gay.

Amazon negotiated and bribed their way to incredibly favorable deals with an entity that does not have to worry about the longevity or effects of taking a shitty contract, so Amazon ships for near or below cost for everything but last mile, and everyone who's not Amazon or with a large bribing power gets raped to even out the balance sheet.

It's a lot like being a porn addict. Amazon has desensitized you to the reality of shipping. Amazon has warehouses everywhere stacked with shit. you're seeing items sent from and delivered to addresses not very far from the warehouse. Compared to when you're mailing something to another state, it is actually traversing the country. Buy something off eBay and you'll see the same shipping times as it's typically using USPS. I love eBay. I can give normal people money to ship me things that aren't Chinese junk and fakes.

I recently watched a video about a guy who sells supplements on Amazon. He owns the entire manufacturing and is the only seller. There's still fakes being sent to customers and mysterious other sellers. Sending people who knows what in a pill. Amazon has a massive fraud issue that's my real issue with them. I still use it though, all the time. I basically have to for some things.

Used to be that laws were passed and enforced by consent and therefore collaboration of the people, alas that system is rapidly breaking down now that the people include an increasingly greater proportion of niggers (this used to be the case for all of Europe.
