Jim's irreverence about the possible existence of the Demon even as he engages with it could potentially explain his affliction. He orbits in the same social circle as many of the people alleged to have been attacked by this particular Demon, and apparently by his own admission the torment that afflicts his body is confounding his doctors. Both in how badly its crippling him, and in how he's still alive at this point.Perhaps if Jim got rid of that and prayed his health could improve? This thread has been a trip. I have been becoming more religious as the world becomes more chaotic and cruel. I wonder if we are giving a new name to one of the 7 princes of hell. They each represent one of the seven deadly sins. I will post a video on them when I get home.
Jim has tried everything man has to offer. Maybe he SHOULD try something else. If nothing else, then it could ease his passing.
Also, this thread is why I love the Kiwifarms. Shit like this will be something everyone "thinks" about in their own heads, but would never actually talk about in public. We live in such enlightened times even the church coffee luncheon would not seriously take up the issue of "so and so may be possessed by a Demon, should we call an exorcist?"
Well yes. Theologically, the Demons are the fallen angels of Gods host that were created before he got to work creating creation. There have been ENDLESS arguments in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc, hell, even Buddhism, Shinto and meso-american religions about just what these entities are. One thing that does however unify all human spirituality from uncontacted tribes in the Amazon to Otaku shut in's in Tokyo, is that malevolent spirits are a thing. They even have similar character and artistic depictions too.The medallion is its own thing which should be addressed, but remember what Jesus said in Matthew 12: 43-45 (quoting NIV)
"43 When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

Buddhism

Meso American Tzitzimitl
Incidentally, when the Roman Catholics encountered the Meso-American religion they immediately determined it to be literal demon worship. A reaction I should note the Catholics didn't even have when they encountered Hinduism, Buddhism, or Shinto. I refer you to this book in the Kiwi Farms Library.
It all points to the idea of these entities being eternal. So you cannot "destroy" them in the way you understand it. More that you can ward them away, both from yourself and potentially from someone unwary.
