one can only hope it's actually good and the animation is just something you'd have to get past and that it doesn't go the route of bill nye the sex junk guy

In theory, to appeal the parents (dads) that are hopefully watching along with their kids and not just slapping on random shit to shut them up for a while. The reality is it's for all the 90's kids that'll make up the main audience and not kids.So they bring back the old Ms. Frizzle voice actress to introduce this new chick because........? What's wrong with the original? Did they just have to make her some 20 something with flowing hair? Do they really think 6 year olds won't be interested unless the teacher has some weird sex appeal?
I could never understand why they never needed permission slips to go on all those field trips. I hope this issue is addressed in the new one.
Ah yes, one of the episodes with his bitchy cousin. If it's brought up and references that time Arnold tried killing himself on Pluto I'll recant every bad thought I had about this show.
I'm so sick of this retro revival trend. I like my heavy, extremely dated 90s music to stay in the 90s and my hipster bullshit indie music to stay in the current year. Same goes with cartoons, movies, and vidya. I'm sorry you're so void of ideas that you have to prey on nostalgia, Netflix, but nostalgia won't keep you around forever. This reboot is just as soulless as the rest. Is nothing sacred?
I'll be glad when the millennial shut-ins who keep you afloat get bored of you.
(Also yeah it's just a cartoon, I know)
They get rid of Phoebe and repalced her with brown-skinned girl in pink/orange clothes. Or she is the only one redesigned and racebend. At least they didn't make the characters even more politically correct, like changing somebody to a cripple, troon, and/or Muslim in a burka.
but when they do, it ends up as trashMillennials need to create their own stuff.
It was 1994-1997 on PBS.When was the Magic Schoolbus show? I'm wondering because I remember the books from elementary school, but not the tv show. So I'm trying to figure out if it came out when I was too old, or if it was just on a channel I didn't get as a child.
