Unagi of Kyoshi Island is fair. Sphinx would be fair as a 3/2 for 2UUUU, but six toughness is way too much for giving that many resources for the low low cost of other players existing.

Eh, its interactable before it triggers if you have instant speed stuff and I dunno if is just a side effect of the game getting faster and more low to the ground..I haven't seen a Consecrated Sphinx in forever, and I would say Unagi is more unfair..it has flash and stupid ass ward to get through to remove it.

Ban Sensei's Divining Top while we're at it. That card needs to go for sheer annoyance factor.

Yes, and I have a small group that does the same thing in Pioneer, but the banlist exists because there's an understanding that hard curation is necessary to maintain the desired play patterns of a format.

A softball banlist without any hard restrictions encourages a culture of justifying reasons that a card or play is still within the letter of the law, if not the spirit. The unfortunate truth, whether we like or not, is that EDH is still a competitive format. The stakes might not be high and a lot of bullshit might fly, but people are playing it to win. A gentlemanly sense of sport between mature adults is only going to go as far as your immediate pod, and if that's all the rules are designed to cover you're not playing a TCG, you're playing a very expensive, very customizable boardgame.

People bitch too much about Rhystic. Yes, tax cards are annoying but they progressively get less annoying as the game carries on.
That's why you blow them up. It's absolutely nowhere near ban-worthy, unless they want to ban literally every single tax card, which they absolutely won't.

I have heard some people opinion that they should add other wincons in edh like you can get point for doing stuffs.

There's already a massive variety of win cons, from self-milling, get 20 treasures to win, get X life to win, etc built into cards? if they want an alternative win just build one. People are not very clever.

I swear to god if they ban jeweled lotus or mana crypt and ban rhystic Im gonna be pissed. They also need to just unban primetime too I can name six cards worse at this point.

Manacrypt is never gonna get an unban, Lotus Might but Lotus was kind of overrated.

I also dont think they are gonna ban Rhystic, despite the fact it should probably go.

If they unban Primetime I quit.

Lotus probably should be unbanned because it was designed for commander, I really dont understand the hate for primeval titan though. power creep has gotten to the point where it needs to be unbanned and put on the game changers list.

Jeweled Lotus will get unbanned definitely, Rhystic Study will stay a game changer despite the retarded commies, and the card most likely to banned will be ThOracle. Prophet of Kruphix/Biorhythm are going to be a game changers at some point. Let's be real ThOracle is like Dockside or Hullbreacher. However depending on the reaction I'll bet good money that some retard will threaten them if they ban ThOracle.

Look at last page, i literally explained why Primeval Titan should never be banned. Primeval Titan is stronger now than he was when he got banned when the "most powerful" thing you could really do was 2 scrylands or a Karoo or a scryland.

Leovold was designed for Commander, very, very badly, and needed to be removed as a result.
