Still a shitty reason to shoot someone even if he was walking away from an arrest. Just do what the PA cops do and call him up when he's back home and tell him you know he's in there and if he doesnt walk out into your custody you'll bust into his house and drag him out kicking and screaming and seize any children inside and send them to CPS for good measure.

We have given the police too many powers, and our evil government has way too many excuses to issue warrants.

Exactly, fight it in court, not on the street. Fighting the law in the street gets you shot. It's a pretty simple concept that a surprising amount of people can't grasp.

Even if, in some bizarro world, rioting was justified-

People just don't know all the facts at the moment. Ive heard everything from he may have had a gun to may have brandished it at the cops. Hearing those possibilities from casual internet browsing should set off a lot of questions before anyone even considers rioting. Not a fan of rioting period, for anything, but if this doesn't make it clear that people are looking for an excuse to riot first, and then ask about the facts of a case later, I don't know what does.

Jesus fuck, the Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz, is a vile piece of shit. In this article, it says 'Walz tweeted he was praying for Wright’s family “as our state mourns another life of a Black man taken by law enforcement.”' That's not throwing his own law enforcement system under the bus, that's him dropping a nuke on it and pissing on the radioactive ashes. It's downright sociopathic and irresponsible; as a leader he should be calling for calm, co-operation, forgiveness and unity. Instead he's pouring petrol on an already raging bushfire. It's insane.
