IMO there is a limited number of internet personalities who
a) have the disposable income to waste on freeing fucking chris chan from jail
b) know about chris and actively participate in the chris chan knowing-about sphere to the point where they might want either more cawntent or attention and praise for mor cawntent
c) see him in a positive light enough to free him or just want to stir a massive fucking shitshow by freeing him

I did some googling, I don't think that he's eligible for his tugboat while he's in prison, but some might have been going to Barb while he was there. I don't know if she's mentally sound enough to figure out how Bail Bond companies work so my money is that some rich benefactor covered the cost of it, not Chris or Barb. Idek tho
