That's if he has one student. If he's got himself 20 students suddenly he's making $25 an hour. That's how marines roll nerd.

I'd buy his videos if they were $1 though. They'd be amazing.
 
I wonder what course plans he has made so far - what things to cover, which order, how many hours.
Prediction: after the first hour focusing on Random Shit, he gives the students a break, goes to stare himself on the bathroom mirror, and groans "Holy crap, I'm totally out of material, worst of all these guys know it, and I still have the rest of the day and the whole fucking week ahead".
...but this would imply skills of introspection so instead he'd keep on doing Random Shit until the students are fed up with it.
 
I live pretty close to himand I'm seriously considering dropping a few bucks to drive down their with a friend and laugh our asses off one weekend. I would think of it less like getting "training" and more like an admission fee for a comedians live performance. I really hope he goes through with this, it'd be fucking brilliant.

I doubt anyone who shows up would actually be looking to learn anything. One glance at this guys physique and dress style will be enough to tell you he knows jack shit.

All things considered, this is a pretty harmless way for him to make money. He techbically wouldn't be breaking laws by saying he's in the Marines, so the only risk would be if someone got injured in sparring (most likely him, obviously) if he has proper protective equipment, MMA gloves and shit, this could actually work.

Of course, everybody would be laughing at him, some not so covertly, so that might interrupt his "training sessions" when an army reservist knocks his teeth out for saying "clip" instead of "magazine".

But he's a crack shot with pistols and SMGs both in video games and real life, so you WILL be getting your moneys worth. I don't know about you, but if I'm going to hire a trainer I want them to not only have time to play video games but to be a badass in it as well.

I think having the one student is already too far fetched.
 
I'm in Texas, but I admit if I lived anywhere close to Jace I would probably do this. For one thing I'd like to meet him in person to see if I could get a feel for whether he is for real or not. When I watch his videos and read about his antics I still can't shake that voice in the back of my head that keeps saying "Nobody could really be this stupid."
 
Wouldn't Jace need insurance, and have background checks if he is going to be working with children and vulnerable adults, as well as any criminal records from his past that will show him as being dangerous, and be certified as an instructor knowing what they are doing? Because if he causes an accident with one of his clients, he could be sued and very much liable for the accident. Also don't you also have to be registered as a business as well. Although it is a good thing he is thinking about working, I don't think delusions of being in the Marines, and playing video games are credentials for setting up self defense classes, it could backfire on him badly.

What if they ask for a refund? Discuss. (A what if about Jace, this forums going places)
 
I hope he goes ahead with this, and an actual Marine, or someone with any other kind of actual military training shows up to take the course. I'd pay to see that. I could see someone doing this to teach him a lesson.
