I like this Mario character, someone should make a video game about him.

Despite so many fans working on Detective Pikachu and giving advice/touching up background details wherever needed, Legendary had to go to The Pokémon Company every time to approve the live-action designs and about any scenes/ideas they had, which immensely helped the final product, especially the Mr. Mime scene. Sega had to eventually step in to help fix Sonic the Hedgehog when Paramount agreed to push back the release date over Sonic's redesign, though most of the heavy work was done by dedicated fans who actually gave a shit (and it shows, even in the sequel). So a combination of both tbh.then the message isn't so much "hollywood studios should learn from Mario's example" (because let's be real, they WON'T), it's more that owners of said intellectual properties should be more strict with their IPs as to not let hollywood studios run free and turn their gold into shit.
The answer seems to be for the workers to be fans..and the IP creator to be there to back the workers when the Suit Niggers try to change something to make it more "Accessible for a wider audience"Despite so many fans working on Detective Pikachu and giving advice/touching up background details wherever needed, Legendary had to go to The Pokémon Company every time to approve the live-action designs and about any scenes/ideas they had, which immensely helped the final product, especially the Mr. Mime scene. This is also the strategy that Marvel went with for the MCU for the most part, though it seems to be falling apart with Disney now.The answer seems to be for the workers to be fans..and the IP creator to be there to back the workers when the Suit Niggers try to change something to make it more "Accessible for a wider audience"
They have matter over mind.Fucking hell, what is with macho men and not being able to read?
I'll believe it when I see it. If the rumors are true regarding Miyamoto hovering over Illumination's shoulders, then the message isn't so much "hollywood studios should learn from Mario's example" (because let's be real, they WON'T), it's more that owners of said intellectual properties should be more strict with their IPs as to not let hollywood studios run free and turn their gold into shit.
I guarentee you some exec or focus group member is fucking seething right now because they were told "NO!" in regards to not going full feminist/communist/woke/etc... and if there's one thing history has told us, they NEVER like it when someone tells them "no".
And she was a fun part of the movie.the original mario movie had that lmao
not reallyany SJW crap in the movie?
lol when's the last time YOU'VE been to a theater?* the seats can recline
Really? That wasn't the case when I went the theater not too long ago.The downside (aside from TV ads being spewed in your face now instead of regular still images set to soft/jazz music) is that you can't even sit wherever the fuck you want. Once you buy the ticket, you are also assigned a specific seat as if you were attending a sports game or broadway show, which also means the closer you want to be to the screen, the more money you have to shell out.
it might depend on the theater itself. I know some of them are one priced tickets that let you pick wherever you want to sit, but it's still recorded in their system as your exclusive seat associated with that ticket, so if you're a last-minute buyer if its for a movie that's JUST been released, you wind up getting the shitty seats no one wants.Really? That wasn't the case when I went the theater not too long ago.
lol when's the last time YOU'VE been to a theater?
(also the reserving seats thing is somewhat new to me too)First movie I saw in a theater since 2005.
what a disturbing new millennium this future is so far ...Chicks don't even like it as a date idea anymore.
Probably another kiwi has made this connection, but to me it seems like they decided to roll up Peach, Daisy and Rosalina into one. The girl boss moments could've been turned down a bit. At times, it looked more like a Super Princess Peach movie rather than a Mario Bros. one.
If the movie had Adeline and Ribbon as major characters, I'd see it.If that's the case, Kirby movie when?
Fuck man, I forgot movies used to have those still ads that played relaxing music. Made the experience that much nicer. Now you have all these politically charged ads and people sucking themselves off over their own movies now.lol when's the last time YOU'VE been to a theater?
Theaters have been gutting the inside of their rooms to make the experience just like, if not better than, everyone's home theater room (which is one of the reasons why people don't go to the movies anymore... why pay money for tickets when you can stream whatever the fuck you want inside your house for free) for quite some time now. This also includes the seating which are now couch recliners. It's part of the reason why tickets have gone up in price.
The downside (aside from TV ads being spewed in your face now instead of regular still images set to soft/jazz music) is that you can't even sit wherever the fuck you want. Basically the theater industry has taken one step forward only to fucking fumble back a bajillion steps and make the experience unappealing to where who in their right mind would even WANT to go to one in the first place? Chicks don't even like it as a date idea anymore.
