MASAOSEPTION!

His review of the toilet steak is great. I love the original because he combines strange cooking tactics with odd stories.
The commentary version is him saying he would do everything exactly the the same and telling more odd stories.
Probably the greatest mysteries for me were the chinese money and undeveloped film canisters. He mentions the money, but brushes over it, only adding more mystery. He says he still hasnt gotten the film developed because he's trying to repress the memories. Maybe pics of "pranking grandma by taking photos of her on the toilet."

I really like his attitude towards his condition or whatever you'd call it. He's aware he's very different from others but is neither bitter nor entitled about it. He accepts a lot of things others similar to him don't, like how the world will always be strange to him and he'll always be strange to the world. But that he still needs to make a little effort to be considerate and conform to his environment.

Finally getting back into his videos after the long hiatus and starting from the beginning. The longer you watch, the more you come to accept his mysterious existence and just let it flow. Things like the slice of bread in the toilet, sambuca in general, or an offhand remark with no further clarification about how he uses Liquid Wrench when he wants to burn things just make sense.

Also love the long version of Caffe Latte.

What's interesting is that he himself doesn't seem to be filthy, he just lives in filth. Like I can't recall seeing his skin being dirty or anything.

Agreed. Also, despite the weird stuff he films he does seem to be able to do household repairs and maintenance.

He also seems to have an office based job as well. I think he just likes a good bender on the weekend and doesn't like to clean.

From what I can recall of Masaokis, he has some mental issues and also is/was an alcoholic. He had one place that he just fucking demolished and another where he lived relatively normally.
