Mass Effect (4?) - N7 Day

IF Dreadwolf ever comes out, and that a big IF, it should finally kill this wreck of a studio
then again Andromeda and Anthem should have killed it too but someone loves throwing money into this bottomless pit of shit games

If Dragon Age 4 doesn't make gigabucks EA will absolutely shutter them before whatever disaster this game is gonna be even finishes being made.
And they've restarted making DA4 two times now, so betting on Bioware not being a thing by 2025 is probably the safe gamble.

Well they're still doing the "sci-fi=useless RGB lights" gimmick that they picked up from Andromeda.
What purpose exactly do the gamer keyboard lights serve on your (presumably) hi-tech military helmet that's supposed to protect you from being shot in the face. Those bright red lights would only attract snipers, thus eliminating the "face-shooting-proof" advantage that the helmet is supposed to grant you.

So the first "trailer" has taught us that the game will look stupid. The next "trailer" will teach us that the story will be stupid. Finally, when they decide to show gameplay (years later) we will discover that they've just recycled the gameplay of the old Mass Effect games.

How in the fuck are they going to continue the story from 3? Andromeda got around this by placing the story in another fucking galaxy. So unless this is a spin off they will have to write their way out of the shit ending of 3 or just reboot it.

Would be real funny (and cause much seethe) if they straight up redo Mass Effect 3. Just start from Shepard waking up and "huh, that was a bad dream".

If they had an iota of creativity? They'd do a midquel surrounding an opened mass effect relay and forget 3 ever happened.
What they'll actually do is either handwave the apocalypse ending 3 had or just soldier on pretending like that wasn't a scenario for the entire galaxy to starve.

The only way this would be worthile is if you found someone trying to recreate the Autism Machine from that one Mass Effect 1 or 2 DLC and they put Sarah Ryder from Andromeda in it.

I already had the idea of a prequel about one of the first N7's starting with Shaanxi and ending rather finally on Eden Prime in your retirement.

The consoomers and reactors barely even noticed when Andromeda came out, the biggest interest by far was among haters laughing at how bad it is.
Unless EA opens the taps and pours money into paying off influencers I fully expect a hypothetical ME4 release to come and go like a wet fart. Everyone who actually cared about the franchise lost interest or actively started hating the studio a decade ago.

Bioware, for some reason or another, hasn't been popular with the consoomer crowd despite them trying their damned hardest to court them IMO.

That's why they are in the dire situation they are currently in.
 
I think if they do go with ME4, it will go the same path as Anthem. There will be crazy hype behind it, people will be stupid enough to fall for it (despite EA's string of shit-tier releases), then realize how stupid they are for buying it.
ME will never achieve what it once did because all the people who made it are gone.
