Mass Effect Andromeda: Shitstorm Edition - RIP Biowear

Head of Bioware says main character is awsome and not done yet. Despite the current release date being only 3 months away.

Shouldn't they be past animations by this point?
I seriously doubt anything is going to be fixed in the animations department. Bioware have always been shit at animations.

"Maybe I'm just getting used to it after watching the clip dozens of times over, but the more I look at Ryder's face when she snags the Turian's gun (and this, by the way, is why you never put your gun within arm's reach of the person you're pointing it at), the more her expression strikes me as not so much "wrong" but simply the look of someone who's tired, exasperated, and sick of putting up with guffola from a second-rate flunkie. And isn't that exactly what it should be?"

ME2 came out the year after.

ME2 had good gameplay but the main story was a complete mess, not to mention it looked like ass compared to their previous games. I think it only resonated well with fans because they made recruiting companions 80% of the content for the game so you only had to deal with the Illusive Man in brief chunks, and all the problems that stem from turning him and Cerberus into some sort of terrorist super power through writer fiat were able to fade in the background while you concentrate on farming rep with Garrus and whatnot.

In fact, I'd say ME2 was the beginning of the downward slide, as that sort of self-indulgent writing (where the antagonist or deuteragonist is obviously a favorite character of the writers and they get to do whatever the writer wants without justification) is a hallmark of modern Bioware games.

I agree with everything you said except for it having good gameplay.

The latest gameplay trailer really concerned me. It looks a lot like the faux MMO fetch quests in a big empty devoid of life world that made DAI such a boring snooze.

Its as if they're oblivious to the fact they'd make a shitload more money making a ME open-universe game where you found a Krogan clan and go from there to conquer the Krogan and then the galaxy. Krogan Rebellions The Game.

The CES trailer?
It's boring as fuck. My favorite part though is how the guy playing fully upgrades his flamethrower to the maximum level and it literally does nothing to one enemy and next to no damage to another. The best part about it though is that he upgraded it specifically to 50% more armor damage and it still did jack shit to the armored enemies.
I really miss the old art style of ME1 though. That 70's-80's sci-fi cheese felt great. Sue me, but I thought the intense film grain only drove home that feeling.

It has gold status but animations and lighting still look horrible. I guess visible cock/pussy was the only way they could think of to squeeze a few more sales out of this trainwreck.

Double post but this doesn't look like a clickbait story. I checked the PSN store and the rating really has been upgraded from "partial nudity" to "nudity." of course the Witcher 3 had that rating too and there was no full frontal so we'll see.

This game is running on current-gen systems, right?

Why do the models look almost exactly the fucking same?

I try not to be a graphics hound (some of my favorite games have had pretty mediocre visuals), but it's really hard to not notice how similar the human models are to previous gen.
