I like Mastodon in concept: the UI's serviceable for the most part and I can access other instances on mobile via Tootle. In practice however, it feels pretty dead for the most part. What I didn't realize getting into it was how absolutely pozzed the userbase was. I actually thought that it was a decentralized alternative to Gab where Qtard boomers and double-digit IQ wignats made a steady majority of its users, only to find out it was the exact opposite, full of tranny programmers, dangerhair ancoms, art school dropouts and all the other lefty stereotypes we've grown accustomed to encountering on Twitter
So here I am now, searching for a Twitter alternative in the likely event that Twitter becomes more aggressively censorious within the next decade, with three different instance accounts I barely use because I feel like I'm walking on eggshells whenever a thought crosses my mind that I wanna post. Pleroma is better imo, even if I find the UI kind of wonky.
EDIT: Please excuse my newfaggotry, I should have lurked in this thread more since I'm clearly treading water. Have a post that made me chuckle from the month or so I used Mastodon.ART:
