Artcow Matt Furie - greasy, delusional furry porn artist who really hates the meme he created, litigious ANTIFA

If he's going to spaz about any infringement of his work, he's just guaranteed that people will create lots more actual parodies, which will be protected under fair use. They'll also be designed specifically to piss him off at this point now that he's gone full lolcow.

It's the old classic "don't feed the troll" that people learn on their first day on the internet.

No one even associated Pepe with 'alt-right' or Neo-Nazis until Hillary Clinton declared it. It was just another meme for people to photoshop jokes with.

After that dipshit speech, people went nuts making alt-right, white supremacist, Neo-Nazi, and generally hateful Pepe edits solely because Hillary was upset that Donald Trump and his son were retweeting pictures of a funny frog. Her campaign strategy was to declare her opponent a hateful bigot, using Pepe as evidence.

Honestly, the "alt-right" wasn't a thing that existed until 2015/16. It's a manufactured term that backfired hilariously by giving the disparate libertarians, actual Nazis and gamergate holdouts that constitute young conservatives a banner to unite under.

He's about 3 -4 years too late on trying to take back Pepe. As someone else mentioned the edgy pepe stuff was around at least since 2014. I remember prior to the election there was the pepe sub-meme "poo poo pee pee" which is pretty much what you think it is.

Matt's art, in general, is an eyesore. I think it's down to the colors he uses. The colors just look too bright. His linework is more tolerable, but that isn't saying much. Best I can say, his designs look lifted out of the Problem Solverz.

I'm pretty certain Matt is abuses LSD. All his colored work screams "LSD experiment".

That's who I legit thought this thread was about at first, although his name is Ben Jones, who also is a failed animator and may or may not be lolcow material

/pol/ and Ben Garrison have been doing just that for months. Glad this thread has finally popped up, though.

The smartest thing he could have done was laid low during this entire debacle.

Whether or not Richard Spencer invented the term (I remain skeptical), prior to that dumb Hillary speech, I would have simply assumed it was anyone right of center who preferred to operate outside the Republican Party, or even inside as insurgents, like the Tea Party types. Even then, it wasn't a terribly useful term, as it encompassed anyone from people really into Ron Paul to people really into Hitler.

At this point, though, it's just a snarl word. It encompasses the same groups of people, but mainly for the purpose of calling them all Nazis to justify violence against them. Antifa has more in common with Nazis than Paultards do.

Yeah thought I vaguely recalled hearing it as a catch-all for anybody who wasn't Religious Right / NeoCon, like Log Cabins, South Park Conservatives, whatever other crazy folks that were like "what if we didn't shit away money on stupid stuff and didn't care about what homos do to each other" and then the batshit online nerds wallowed in the moniker.

I might be confusing it with something else though.

god yeah, i still think boys club is honestly funny as hell
its such a shame to see this guy become such a spastic, but honestly it was a long time coming

I thought Shmorky was funny, too.
I think we all need to realize that if someone draws funny cartoons on the internet they are secretly a giant asspie. We'll get less broken hearts if we just come to terms with it from the get-go.

gonna point out that irritability and paranoia are the fruits of long-term narcotic abuse, and obviously he smokes hella weed and other dubious substances. furie's drug-addled brain probably convinced him that nazi gremlins were gonna steal his soul or something, and he's been acting on that psychic impulse ever since.

his problem isn't spergers, it's munchies. if i've learned anything about potheads, it's that they can be very amusing at times but need to be kept at arm's length because, ultimately, they're still crazy-ass druggies like the rest of them.
