Last time, there was some kind of optimism he could potentially find.I wonder how much time he'll spend in county, I have a sneaking suspicion he's in deep shit either way if the Vickers clan is showing up front and center with the baby he's never met in tow. He had better hope it's a man without kids for a judge. I think a woman or father will drop the hammer down on him with the victim and father looking on.
Last time he went to jail, I honestly think it was good for him. He seemed to cut back the booze and keep somewhat slim for a minute there. I don't expect jail will be positive for him this go round, last time he had Nora and at least some support. Not so much this time.
I don't see Meigh loading up his commissary so he can pay people off with honey buns and snickers. I also don't see Gator running his show while he's gone now. This next chapter is exhilarating.
Some advice Ralph, save your money as much as you can. The price of hay is double what is was last year, the price of sweet feed is rising fast and fertilizer will be hard to get at reasonable prices. All that will trickle down and even the Farrier will soon be unaffordable.
His show will be effectively dead and not come back, and whatever exists at the moments will forget about him the week after he's gone.
He's on the wrong side of 30 (could be mistaken for 50 easily), with no real assets or investments.
He's got no family left at this point, besides the vegetable brother. May will leave him when it's opportune.
Could Ralph find redemption? Yea, sure. In the same sense that I'll find a a million bucks behind my wall. But in all likelihood, the rest of his life is going to be on a downward slope.
