This saga is cementing how much of a lolcow their father was before Ralph ever entered the equation. The kids were never going to be the priority. Parents of modest means who care about their children prioritize stability. You work a job you hate and endure whatever hardships you must to keep the boat sailing to a shore where your kids will have the means to build a better life. You don't buy Camaros.
