Chris was being financially cucked by Barb for years, the only thing Chris legally had going for him was squatters rights, but now that he's been out of the house for so long he doesn't have that to fall back on for security.

Not really. If he acts crazy in court too much then either he is just going to get a more harsh sentence from pissing off the judge and everyone involved, or worse case he gets insanity. Either option really isn't good, as being sentenced to stay in a mental ward is just as bad if not worse then a normal sentence as they will keep you drugged up the whole time and you have to deal with the mentally insane.

Tldr. Don't act like a retard in court or around the law in general. There is almost no way it will end good for you.

Can we please stop claiming "Insanity" as a defense or a ruling. It will have nothing to do with this. If he keeps beingChris they send him back to the nt hut to attempt to get him competant enough to stand trial... again. If that sems impossible they will move to get a civil judgement to long term comitt hm for psych care in a locked unit. None of this makes the crime or trial go away. Not guilty by reasonof insanity is essentially a legal unicorn. Something that doesn't really exist in the wild as everyone imagines.

Highly unlikely. If that was what they were gonna to for then they would have kept him in the hospital. He was probably sent so they could check Chris out and see if he was actually insane or just retarded. If anything Chris will likely get time served, and probation. If he keeps acting like a retard in court though then he is just gonna get more added to it though pissing off the judge and everyone else.
