I disagree, if the fat autist only ends up doing a year in jail for multiple instances of rape committed against a family member, that's not NEARLY punishment enough. Depending on the medication, they're not obligated to. If it was something life threatening where he absolutely needed his medication or he'd die or come out with severe bodily harm, that's a different story. But HRT, pain medicine, stuff like that, they don't care and nothing requires them to provide you with it.

I don't know where you people come up with some of this stuff. Half of you don't know the difference between jail/prison and many of you have all these crazy ideas what it entails.

You're saying that, "a jail failing to give an inmate ANY medication prescribed by a doctor is a MASSIVE fucking deal." And that if they fail to give said inmate his medication, they'll be a huge lawsuit.

So if a guy is in jail for a few weeks and they refuse to give him his Propecia because he's losing his hair, the jail is in big trouble? Is that what you're saying? Propecia is a prescription medication prescribed by a doctor. What about prescription weight loss medicine, preferably amphetamine based? That ought to go over big in jail.

What about Viagra? What if a junky who abuses his prescription medication still has a doctor who writes him a bottle of roxycodone every month? According to you, he's entitled to that or the jail will be in big trouble?

Yes, society doesn't really approve of it, but society doesn't approve of a lot of things. Barb hadn't hadn't felt the touch of a man in a decade, she was getting older, what people thought of her no longer concerned her. Her eyes fell on the one pickle that she could still hope to take a bite of; Chris' pickle. Of course she may have not verbalized it, but Chris and his mother have been together for a long time. She didn't need to say a word for him to understand.

This is a case of others cruelly interfering in matters they had no business interfering in. The only evil here is society.

There was so much speculation going on about what Chris's transfer meant, it's kind of baffling and confusing that no one here realized that Chris's transfer to the hospital was literally due to him being too mentally incompetent to assist in his own defense and that the State medicated him to get him to a vaguely lucid point enough to actually try him.
It's sad, honestly. It didn't need to be this way.

Not really. Him going to the hospital was one of the few reasons that were discussed as to why he suddenly "disappeared". There was no confirmation as to where he went, tho I'm sure that was for his safety and sanity (or lack thereof).
