McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

Thursday morning I went to McDonald's and ordered an "egg and cheese bagel." 🥯

I know that the "round egg," the McMuffin egg, is made fresh, and the scrambled eggs are made from a powder. Regardless, I decided to trust the the process.

First of all, I liked how my sandwich was wrapped up. If felt unique.

I got a nice, soft bagel. It wasn't a traditional chewy Jewish bagel at all. If you could compare a Vietnamese Bahn Mi's bread to a traditional French baguette, it's much softer. This was comparable to that; it was like the bagel version. Very pillowy.

This sandwich gets at a 10/10 on texture. It's nice, soft, and buttery. It's warm and stays warm. There are two slices of melted American cheese, one on each side. Inbetween the two soft bagel halves is almost one full inch thick of scrambled eggs that span one side of thr sandwich to the other.

It's all topped off with a zesty, creamy sauce. You don't know where the sauce ends and where the cheese begins.

I love eating this thing.

The first time I got it, the teenager working the cash register dropped a free packet of strawberry jam in my bag.
I realized she was trying to tell me something: adding jelly to this sandwich is delicious.

She was correct.

When I was eating it on Thursday morning, I thought to myself that it was good now but I'll actually crave it later. That was true. I really craved it today and loved eating it again.

I really recommend this.

I’ll be 40 in a couple months and this is the first I’m ever hearing of this.

I did play the McDonald’s game on the original NES growing up and was aware of the one that came out on the Genesis
It was a Flash game made by a literal communist.

Let's see some of their other works:

I just hope the Foi Gras burger will be back in Hungary. It is goose liver paired with beef, For other joints, blueberry sauce and venison burgers are nice.
Goosey Gustav isn't bad, Fox Felix is where it's at though, thankfully that one does come back quite frequently.

Apart from that, I really wish Hungary had the Ceaser [sic.] Beef that Bulgaria has, it has marginally worse macros than the Double McRoyal, but is a lot more edible. ~700 calories and like 45 grams of protein is fucking goated, especially when you can taste something besides the meat in the sandwich.

McDonalds US forgot Grimace's birthday today:

It remains to be seen rather or not the celebratory Grimace Shakes will be coming back as they were last summer.
Theres an easy way to prevent this from happening again. Mcdonalds should just produce a commercial with officer big mac kneeling on the hamburglars neck because he tried to pass a counterfeit $20 to buy a grimace shake on grimace's birthday and have him yelling ronald! I can't breathe! while ODing on whatever they're putting in the mcnuggets to addict people to them

I'm sure it would go over great and nobody would ever forget about grimace's birthday again

Yeah that's alright, can't remember the last time I had anything that wasn't Mickey D's garlic mayo though. Too bad they also don't sell the spicy sauce outside of the faggot sportsball menu, which is literally negative value- it's more expensive than if you bought the items separately (as a menu still). S tier Jewery that one, especially when it's marketed as a 'good deal'.

Their breakfast bagels are pretty tasty. I hope they stay and don't get yanked off the menu, most McDick's offerings I end up liking are limited time only.

If they don't keep it on the menu, I will be sad.

Yesterday I microwaved some French fries from McDonald's. 🍟

I stupidly forgot to ask for the fries to be cooked to order. They were still good and had a nostalgic taste, just a stale texture.

I had a handful left over in the sack, and decided to microwave them on my plate for 10 seconds. It was perfect, it was like they had been back in the oil for 30 seconds.

The reason I had fries was because I got a deal through the app. If I got any kind of McCrispy sandwich (a fried chicken big sandwich, not a little katsu like the McChicken), I could get free fries of any size. So I ordered the base fried chicken sandwich, with extra pickles and mayonnaise. It came with a free medium fry, which is barely more than the small fry.

The mayo tasted suspiciously Japanesey.

I got some mayo packets on the side for later.

All in all, this was a hell of a cheat meal.

All fried chicken sandwiches feel more satiating and satisfying when they're sliced in half, by the way.

They were good when they were fried. Now they are a shadow of their former selves.
They reformulated them again in 2018. Now they don't even feel like pies because they've got a lattice top that makes eating by hand impossible.

Actually pisses me off how expensive MiccyD's is these days.
I honestly like the Mcdouble and I can't even eat like 5 at a time anymore because it's retarded expensive.
It annoys me that they've basically never gotten over COVID times; that is, dine-in customers treated like third class citizens, no self-serve anything (probably more toward hobos and subhumans getting refills on old, dirty cups), half of menu still gone.

I will never actually walk into a McDonald's again unless I have the worst most rancid possible shit to take.

Drive through (where they put their least retarded employees) and eat in the parking lot (unless it's in Chicongo or something) or on the go.
