MCU Television and Animation Series on Disney + - WandaVision, FATWS, Loki, etc

Acknowledging and incorporating the Multiverse also gives them an opening for bringing back all those popular characters that were written off (Iron Man, Cap, Black Widow) or recasting characters whose actor has passed (Black Panther). They'll need it once the current direction of "let's build around the shitty ideas from Marvel Now" falls flat on its face and after they've ruined the X-Men for diversity points.
IMO that could be a potentially dangerous move. If these fictional characters can just come in and out as new incarnations then you seriously cheapen the drama that Marvel has successfully created. While I have my gripes with Endgame I have to give them props for how they ended Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man with a heroic death and had Captain America be retired into being the age of a real WW2 Veteran.

Yes the old saying is Comic Book heroes never stay dead. But I think the value of the MCU is that besides a few recasts (Hulk and War Machine) the superheroes should have a several year film span then gracefully bow out. The way I see it MCU could go on for another 20 years once X-Men are integrated.

Personally I don't even think the MCU X-Men should have another Wolverine because Hugh Jackman owned that role so damn well.

Edit: No Wolverine for at least a few more years.

I can't believe that there's people still in denial in thinking that this isn't an alternate universe version of Quicksilver. The next big Marvel movie is literally Dr. Strange 2 and The MULTIVERSE of Madness. They've already said in the dialog that Wanda has the power to alter reality. After the big hole of losing Iron Man and Captain America the easiest way to keep this cash cow going is to bring in the X-Men.
Was that aimed at me? Because I mean... You literally spelled out the reason why I think this is probably a red herring (It's not like I'm wagering anything on it, that's just a prediction so I look smart if I'm right, if I'm wrong, who cares?). Even though they got Evan Peters, tbh a neat Easter egg, as others have already said, the MCU version of Wanda has *never* been shown to have alternate universe bending powers before...

I do obviously believe that the multiverse will come into play, in the very movie that you mentioned even. As you pointed out, it's literally in the name.

Even if I am entirely wrong, bringing the Xmen into the MCU will be a hell of a lot messier than just "Wanda willed the Fox Xmen movies into the MCU," despite Evan Peters Quicksilver showing up in Wakandavision, because last I checked, Jackman is done playing Wolverine... and aside from Evan Peters himself, and Patrick Stewart, Jackman is literally the only popular consistent character from the Fox Xmen movies. Of course they're going for a clean start...

I suppose the alternative is 'Elliot' Page playing Kitty Pryde in the MCU. That would at least be funny.

I'm thikning it is a red herring as well especially wtih the leaked shots from episode 6/7. Also, any x-men would hopefully be a reboot with people as their correct representations. X-men as teens may have worked for the x-men evolution cartoon, but it doesn't really for the movie universe.

I'm getting ahead of myself, but even though I've always thought that Jackman was a good actor, I NEVER thought he was a good Wolverine. I hope they get somebody who actually fits the part when Logan finally comes to the MCU. Full disclosure, I did kind of like X-Men Evolution at the time >_< (That ending pissed me off though)

Yea I dont think they had much warning they were not renewed. Yea comics wolverwine was definitely not how Jackman played it. Do wonder though what they are gonna do with Scarlet Witch hoping she does not become a villian just to fit their needs.

Wasn’t there a line in episode 2 or 3 where a character offhandedly mentions “Dottie’s the key to everything around here” or something?
Yes Agnes told her that right before the community meeting of the women.

"Dottie is the key to everything in this town. Country club memberships, parties, school admissions…"
"You get in with Dottie and it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out. Just mind your P’s and Q’s and you’re gonna do just fine."

No it wasn't I was looking at a /tv/ thread.

Anyway there's a few big names that can be transplanted from FoX-Men to MCU. Evan Peters, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Fassbender (Magneto), and McAvoy (Prof X). The last two actors are now the right age to play the matured versions of the comic book characters.

The rest? Blow it up.

Ryan Reynolds/Deadpool literally transcends canon, so of course he's coming to the MCU as is, but I kind of think he's in the minority... As I said, maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I believe right now...

His first movie will probably have the most xmen cameos possible to make up for the lack of "we cant afford the xmen" jokes.

It's going to be great when they recast Wolverine. There's no way it won't be awful. Jackman being cast was just pure luck and chance. They'll never be able to replicate it and you just know they'll make some dumb choice. A non-manly pretty boy, with one of those ripped bodies that don't look manly at all.

Can anyone explain to me why Elizabeth Olsen's character dropped the heavy Russian accent between the Age of Ultron and Civil War movies? Obviously it was because she sounded fucking retarded doing it, but I heard there was at least an explanation in the Wanda Vision show for why she stopped.

Falcon and the WIntersoldier Superbowl trailer didn't do much for me.

It's got that cute blond chick from the Captain America films, cool, then eye roll as she's kicking the ass of three much bigger men.

I feel like they want a dynamic between the leads like in the Bad Boys films. Yet they just show Falcon being a prick. So that's all it looks like.

She grew out of it hanging around Americans. It seems to be a typical thing where someone's accent will come back if they're stressed out, like an instinctual thing.

It's not present in the trailer, but I expect race-baiting in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier as not only have the Sam Wilson: Captain America comics featured commentary on police brutality, the replacement Captain America (John Walker/U.S. Agent) picked by the government is a white man.

That is my concern tbh.

I am planning on watching these until they get REALLY unbearable...which I predict will take at least a year.
