Op has a tough choice, if he's involved in a situation where he needs said handgun he could be facing unregistered handgun charges. CA DOJ are a bunch of faggots. CA Leo are not a friend of 2A. Calguns has a really interesting tone.

Majority of Californians hate LEOs and in return, many LEOs here are statist fags that suck shitlib cock very enthusiastically and hate Californians in return.

Apparently some video from the LAPD was shared on that sub, where they tried to make a threaded pistol, that had no muzzle attachment, as a evil scary assault weapon taken off the streets.

One way I see for these AWBs to be defeated at the state level, are red counties just refusing to enforce those laws.

Beyond that, Calguns and r/CAguns sound like beaten doompilled folks.
 
CA is an example of if the populous wills it, it will de facto become legal. about a decade ago the "bullet button device" came out and the CA DOJ was forced to accept it as lawful becuase so many people applied them to their rifles, the recent supreme court ruling could be the push CA needs to bring back everything short of literal NFA devices. If the firearms owners of CA decide all at once to own what CA considers an Assault weapon the CA DOJ will have no choice but to concede and make some kind of attempt at registration.
 
What is your SHTF loadout?

My rifle is a Braced pistol AR Spikes AR-15 in .300 blk 7.5" barrel with a QD suppressor mount, sights are mbuis with a vortex strikefire 2 zero mag reddot. I have no name brand light attached to the rail. The gas block is adjustable on the fly I have written the number of turns for super loads and the number of turns for subsonic loads w/suppressor on a piece of paper in the grip . The primary mag is full of supersonic ammo but I keep the suppressor and a Pmag full of subsonic loads ready to go.

Pistol is a plain jane glock 22 with light w strobe function.

On an unrelated note, I’ve got a retarded project I’m starting soon.

Well, one of my buddies wanted my mossberg shockwave, and offered something up as a trade:

Normally a Draco has around a 10.5 inch barrel, whereas the micro is only 6.5. OAL is only 14.5 inches, and to provide clearance for the magazine, the trigger guard will be almost at the muzzle.
Looking forward to my terrible combloc bushmaster armpistol, and accidentally blowing off my fingers.

It's like I went back an entire 10 years to when that was a fad, I'm going to sue you for the temporal whiplash you just gave me as well as the emotional damage for making me remember bullpup AK pistols were a thing.

It’s going to be just as bad as you can imagine. There’s no aku94 kits around anymore (thank god), so I’ve got a rough prototype fcg fabbed up. Feeling lazy on the optics, so the rear sight block is getting drilled and tapped for a picatinny base, and I’m throwing an old Eotech 552 on it.
